Wong Gardening Services

After receiving a flyer in the mail about Wong Gardening Services, I gave him a call. It was a bit awkward talking with him on the phone, as his business negotiation skills seemed to be lacking, and ultimately we agreed on a time he would come out to the house. He was a ‘no-​show’ and I tried calling several times. Finally he came to our house to give us an estimate. He said this was something he could do and would let me know in a day or two. After a week passes I called many times to find out if he wanted the job (potentially a $ 6000 — $ 9000 job) or not, and if so, what his estimate would be. After some half-​dozen calls and not answering or returning calls, I gave up.
This could explain why Mr Wong has flyers circulating for new business — because he lacks business skills to pursue responses from his flyers. If he was as good as he thinks he is, he would not need the flyers to advertise.

We rec’d a coupon in the mail for Wong Gardening Services. It states on the coupon
«Maintenance.» 2 times monthly $ 40 4 times monthly $ 60.
We were looking for a new Gardner, so my husband called and set up an appointment for
10:00 a.m. we waited and after 45 minutes we called and got voice mail. They finally call back and said to my husband «I came by earlier, and your yard looks pretty good, you don’t need me.» Then he told my husband the price would be $ 100.00 per month just to mow our lawn!
I wouldn’t recommend him at all!
