John Henry Johnson Park

Formerly known as Stoneman North Park, this community park offers a large grassy area for your tots to run around and play sports in. Sometimes kiddy soccer games happen here. There is also a couple of playgrounds, BBQ pits, picnic tables and a public restroom.
This place is totally pooch friendly, offering poopy bags that nobody uses. There’s also a nice run/​walk path encircling the whole park. Maybe I missed something but the path doesn’t exactly connect — I feel like I either have to walk on the sidewalk or through the parking lot to get around the whole perimeter.
Otherwise, it’s… ok. Not exactly the safest one out there as it’s right off main street of town and there’s not much of a pretty view when you’re walking around for some exercise but oh well! It is what it is.
