Jack In the Box… or Jack In the Crack as it’s more affectionately known to some. It’s really kinda… repetitive to do a review on a fast food place to be honest. Most reviews either are very similar or just so similar that people try and make them ellaborate but really are talking about the something. Well here is another review that is along those lines. So bare with me.
Living on the westcoast, who hasn’t really been to a Jack in the Box. I haven’t personally met anyone who hasn’t. Home of the disgustingly delicious tacos, 2 for a buck. Like after a night of drinking, these things are like having Kobe Beef with a Samurai and two Harijuku Girls in a Loft in Japan. Maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but I thought it sounded cool. The munchie meal for $ 6 bucks are pretty awesome, $ 8 after 5 am. A main course (one of the assorted burgers or nugget variations) the tacos and halfsies which are… Curly Fries and Regular. And who doesn’t love one of the varied burgers with «Jack» in the name. My favorite happens to be the Sourdough Jack $ 4.99.
I also like the fact that most Jack in the Box’s and other restaurants are a great switching to those fountain drink machines that you can add your own flavor too. So peach spirit is an option… almost all the time. So to get off my randomness and back to this location. They keep it pretty clean, the lobby is always well kept. Sure some hobos like to hang here acting like they own the joint, but I usually ignore them. The restrooms are… not bad, but they are defiantly a hit or miss, I’ve had assorted experiences when it comes to them.
The service here is decent, not over the top in my experience, but they always seem to give me my orders fresh, so I have no issues with that. Of course experiences vary. They seem to have a great formula going here that ensures they people get their food on time and get going.
In conclusion, if you’re in Pittsburg, this location is right off railroad. Right next to a car dealership and across the street from Mi Pueblo. Oh and the ever so backed up Highway 4 is inconveniently right there too. This location just got updated so it’s current and hip! Well that’s it… nothing more to say! Sike! Unilocal your experience!

Very quick drive thru, the workers were very nice and they got my order right. Overall a great place to get some fast food, or a munchie meal run.

Just went thru the Drive thru window — service was nice friendly and fast. The portobello mushroom Swiss buttery jack amazing. I don’t mind getting it again.

This Jack in the Box is notorious for having belligerent teenage kids after school gets out so try to go while they’re away. The inside is usually clean and the food is reasonably good.
The main reason I am making this review is because Naomi, who works the drive thru is super nice, kind, welcoming and accommodating. She impacted my day with her kindness. She deserves a raise or a paid day off or something.
Also, the receipts have a website to do a review and if you do, within 7 days you can get 2 free tacos.

Twice the same drive thru guy has been rude to me. He also lied about there being a basic hamburger then laughed at me when I said there’s a hamburger kids meal. Who smirks at a customer? He tries to charge me $ 1.40
For a burger when I say I don’t want the jr Jack. The food honestly has always been cold and never good. I’ve tried there several times. Not returning.

Average jack, nothing notable about it. The food is good, unfortunately they always get our order wrong. You want to add cheese or bacon? They charge but forget to actually add it. They also change the sizes, if you want medium fries you’ll get small or vice versa. It’s a convenient location and the staff is polite and through drive thru the order is done quickly (which my be the reason for the mistakes).

During a food emergency, I had to eat here. It was okay. Service was fast & the food was out quickly! The employees were really nice & our order was correct!

This spot is typical of a fast food joint– it’s hit & miss…
In terms of quality, sometimes you get hot, fresh food, and then other times they serve up old, crusty, luke warm garbage that my neighbor’s dog wouldn’t eat! When it’s made correctly, their food is decent (for being fast food).
In terms of service, MOST of the time they are quick, efficient, & friendly; on rare occasion they are slow as molasses, get your order wrong or forget an item entirely, and show some stank @$$ attitudes! (Good thing it’s rare)
The shakes here aren’t as good as the Jack’s on California.

Jack n the box is best for the tacos hands down. Not a big fan of anything else on the menu. Staff was nice and my order was correct.

Blah. I always feel gross whenever I eat greasy fast food, but I only do it when I’m reaaally reaaally desperate.
I was on my way to school, running late since my hair appointment ran a little late. It was about 1:30PM and the last time I ate was 8 in the morning. My stomach was grumbling so sooo bad. I racked my brain to figure out which fast food spots are easy no fuss access from the freeway. This Jack in the Box came to mind.
I got the $ 3.99 Bonus Jack meal, hold the sauce, substitute the drink with egg nog milkshake. I’m the kind of person who goes all out when I eat fast food. None of this order a fatty hamburger, fries and a diet soda to go with it crap.
The Bonus Jack was decent. Kind of Jack’s version of the Big Mac, but neater. Then again, my palette didn’t care at the time. If I didn’t get fed soon, I woulda chewed on the nubs of my fingers. The sandwich was filling in itself — I only ate half of my fries and saved most of the shake for after class. The shake was fatty, sugary goodness, and I loved every slurp.
I love you Mr. Jack, and I’m not ashamed to say it.

got the breakfast steak burrito the other day; the meat was rancid, I later got a stomache ache. Nasty food here; yuck.
