Decent food great coffee. Service isn’t too bad if you’re not in a rush. After noon it gets crowded and servers are friendly

My husband and I came here for breakfast today around 10am. The place was actually somewhat crowded for a Tue. We sat on the left side of the restaurant, There were about half of the tables with food, and the other half hadn’t even ordered yet. It took the waitress a little while to come by and take our drink order, but she was doing the best she could. There were only 2 servers on this side with about 10 tables each, so I blame the manager for not having enough staff. They no longer have the carafes of coffee, so they really needed an additional employee just to refill drinks. .The food was ok, I got the California Scramble with hash browns for $ 10.99, and upgraded to Swedish Pancakes. My husband got Eggs/Bacon/Hash Browns with an upgrade for Velvet Pancakes. My Swedish pancakes tasted very fake, my hash browns were kind of grainy. I tasted my husband’s Velvet pancakes, and they were rubbery, almost like they were microwaved. The prices were a little high for breakfast especially when they charge $ 2 for each upgrade.

I’m currently here. My boyfriend took me here for breakfast for my birthday. Horrible service. Took forever to get served. Food particle in my drink. I wish I checked the reviews before coming here. Still waiting on food.

Rootie Tootie Fresh and Fruity… That is what IHOP is known for. Most people today may think this is a place that«Apple Corp» started but«The International House of Pancakes» has been around for a while, and honestly I’m glad they are still relevant but their are a lot of hits and misses here that may continue to have them living in the shadow of that other popular diner restaurant chain… here is my review of IHOP 3÷2÷16 I wanted to try something different from my usual breakfast spots. IHOP is literally right down the street from where I live so I figure why not give this place a try, they always have a consistent crowd there plus a omelette sounds quite good at eight something in the morning. Service — 4 stars Food — 3 stars Cleanliness — 4 stars I went in and had to wait for like almost ten minutes to be seated in a restaurant that wasn’t busy at that moment. I waited like another almost five minuets before a waitress came over to take my order, lets say roughly in total 15 minuets of waiting, I honestly almost left. I ordered the bacon temptation omelette, because bacon is mighty tempting and who doesn’t like bacon besides a vegan or vegetarian? I also got pancakes and hashbrowns. I like the syrup options here Old Fashion Maple, Butter Pecan, Strawberry and Blueberry. I ended up choosing butter pecan for my pancakes. The pancakes looked better than they tasted, they weren’t fluffy and tasted rather… bland almost like the heat and serve«Eggo» brand or something not my favorite, my hashbrowns were okay, wished they fried them a bit more, but I ate them. And the start of the show the Bacon Temptation Omelette… this one was a let down. The omelette was smaller than ones I get at other breakfast spots, you can tell to melt the cheese they put it in the microwave because my omelette became kinda… rubbery in texture. The cheese sauce on the inside was kinda bland and didn’t really stand out, and the bacon… there wasn’t enough of it to be tempted by. Especially with a name like«Bacon Temptation» you would think bacon would of been the star here… not in this case. Especially for the price. But one high note, the bacon that was there was cooked just right! Wasn’t oily and crispy, would of rather had it stand alone instead of in this dish. Will I go back? Not anytime soon, with very little chance in the future. But that’s just my opinion. Oh I forgot to mention the lukewarm OJ they brought me out. I needed Ice to make it cool. Especially for the price of it, I was dissatisfied. In conclusion, IHOP has a charm about it that keeps people going to it, another location I have visited in Concord I had a way better experience than I had here. But results vary. Some people may like it here some may not. This location is on the intersection of Loveridge and Leland in Pittsburg. Right next to the new Planet Fitness and across the street from Walmart. If you decide to come here, come with your own open mind and as always… Unilocal your own experience.

I love IHOPs. We’ve been here many times and never had a problem. The veggie omelet is awesome. Also just had the Tuscan Scramble which was great. Always had good service and good food. Never had a long wait like I see other people here writing although it appears from some of the negative reviews, it’s people who think the world revolves around them. I can tell you Sunday mornings are always packed, we avoid it then but for the occasional dinner on Saturday, this place is great.

I never thought I’d Unilocal an IHOP, but, 5 stars for Byron. He’s awesome & personable every time we come in when he’s working. Always smiling throughout the restaurant and has a good memory. Businesses need more positive, outgoing people like him since it does change the whole environment of the place & you can notice it.

We came in for National Pancake Day and we were surprised with how attentive the staff was. Especially with the long wait time and massive crowd coming in for the promo. We waited about twenty minutes and were sat down as we we’re called up. Our waiter was very attentive and kept out drinks full and checked in with us very often. The breakfast was okay but it wasn’t anything exceptional. The best pancakes weren’t as fluffy as IHop usually advertises and after we left we felt really tired from eating the food. Next time we go out for breakfast we will search for a mom and popshop instead.

At first I was skeptical about going here for several reasons. One being that it’s a chain restaurant so my expectation of eating a good meal instantly lessened. To my surprise my meal was very good. I ordered this scrambled egg with cheddar sauce on top of brioche bread with a side of avocado it was super good. The rest of my family had all you can eat pancakes. Our service was not bad either and lastly neither was the price. I take back my preconceived notion of this establishment we will most definitely come back again.

Ordered a water and asked for a pitcher of water so the waiter didn’t have to keep coming back because it was really busy,. started pouring water after I finished my first cup and looked in the pitcher and there was at least 7 dead gnats in the pitcher

I ordered a house salad to go,(with no dressing) as I add the dressing and mix it up I found all kind of spoiled lettuce at the bottom. I called to get this resolved, and the girl that answered said no manager was available, but she would have one call me back.(Never happened) I called the following Morning and the man that answered claimed to be the manager, I explained the situation and he told me without the receipt there was nothing that could be done. By this time the receipt was discarded with the bag the food came in. I advised him I still had the salad.(I was almost certain with as cheap as they are that they’d want it back) anyways he wasn’t willing to accommodate me as the customer although I spent my money just to have a salad that wasn’t edible. Terrible customer service all the way around!

This is disgusting! Not only was their dishwasher broken or something, but an employee still wrapped these utensils in a napkin! Lost my appetite and would not go back to this place. Gross.

My kids and I went here with a friend and her kids for the ”scary face pancakes.” We were seated quickly but once we sat down… it was quite awhile until the waitress came over. She seemed less than thrilled that we had a handful of kids with us. We had to get up to FIND her multiple times during our meal. for refills and for our check. I would give her 0 stars as far as service goes. The food was ok, kids pancakes were cute. My family and I decided to return here for breakfast this morning and decided not to come back. We waited 40 minutes to be seated, my coffee was cold and the food was mediocre. $ 36 dollars was quite a waste for a breakfast/service that was less-than.

Slow service, cold an dry food, restaurant has 5 tables of people an the service sucks bad. This place has gone down hill over the past year. Only got checked on once in the 2 hours I was there. Good thing I didn’t need anything… Also found walnuts in my food when the menu stated«pecans». Doesn’t matter to me but what if someone was allergic to walnuts an thought they ordered the meal with pecans. Just sayin. Go here if you like cold food that is dry like cardboard.

The morning after our beautiful wedding 4 yrs ago, while on our honeymoon, we awoke to hunger. We both wanted breakfast… so i searched on my handy dandy Unilocal app and realized there was a IHOP not far at all. We hopped in the car and it was on from there! My newlywed husband and I had officially been married for a day and we already had a «spot» of our own, I was so elated. He ordered his Belgian Waffles, eggs and hashbrowns, while I ordered my Strawberry Cheesecake pancakes with turkey bacon and hashbrown with eggs. That til this day is our go to on the menu lol We LOVEIHOP not just because of the sentimental value it holds with us and our 1st day as newlyweds, but because it’s a family oriented establishment. You look around and you see folks meeting after yrs of seeing each other, starving after church or just treating the family to a afternoon brunch. They also donate to the Children’s Miracle Network. Its a happy, cheery place with a classic menu. They’re crepes are delish and the eggs are so light and fluffy, I want they’re recipe! The menu is extensive enough to feel like there’s alot to choose from, definitely more than breakfast. I’m a breakfast gal, guess he learned that day. Each and every year since then, we go to IHOP on our anniversary morning as a cute ritual.

Went here today for brunch with a friend and her kids. Haven’t been to an Ihop in awhile. The food was good and so was the service. The place was packed but the employees were on it. We didn’t have to wait a long time for the food and the coffee was hot. Yumm… will definitely be back.

They advertise all you can eat pancakes, here that means 2 pancakes, very poor service. Waitress Georgina came to the table a total of 4 times for the order, drop off drinks, drop off the food then after requesting twice another male waiter came to refill coffees, drinks and pancakes. Worse service ever, in all my years of coming here. A total of 5 tables, two servers and taking too long for ordering, food delivery, refills and ticket. Sad.

After many attempts to call this place any good. To my dismay it always dissapoints!(My kids love it there for their pancake fix) Had a hearty ham and cheese omelette with toast, $ 10 bucks… OK, they can’t mess up eggs, cheese and cubed ham… Um you know the brown and overcooked dry edges of eggs that make there way up the sides of your pan at home? Yea, they gave me thin layer after layer of that plus cheese and ham. Gross right? I know. I have NEVER in my life sent food back but that was really inedible! I ask for just an over easy egg. Waitress gets me two. Super sweet girl… My kids enjoyed their pancakes and scrambled eggs as usual. Get the check and I’m assuming that the waitress would have simply substituted the ham omelette and toast for two eggs and toast…$ 27.94… Nope. But that’s ok, she probably doesn’t have the power to do so. Here’s my gripe. The owner rings me up for my order asks: «How was your visit today?» As he is pulling up my tab. I reply very politely, «it was ok, waitress was very sweet but the omelette I ordered was overcooked and I had to send it back…» «Oh, sorry about that, that’ll be $ 27.94.» Thanks boss for doing the right thing! It wasn’t about the $$ sir. Simply listen to your people that eat there. Paid in full and left the girly a tip. You would think that the initial question he asked would merit a valuable response from a patron like myself. That’s what we’re trained to do as managers, sir. Guess not at IHOP. He basically told me «sorry, not sorry!» Sorry, not sorry about this review. People, go to Sylvia’s on lone tree, no this is not a shameless plug. I don’t know them there at all but I do know that $ 10+ bucks for an omlette with them means that it’ll be effin worth it!

I was debating if I should eat here or not, due to reading all the negatives reviews. Since it’s Halloween, I decided to take my son(who was dressed up as a Ninja) to try their«Scary Pancake»! Which was FREE :) We went around 1015AM and the place was PACKED! The nice host named ERNIE(I believe) wrote us down for 2. We waited by the doors for about 10 – 15 minutes. Not that bad considering it was REALLYPACKED. We sat in a booth in the corner, which I’m glad because we both love sitting in booths! Our waitress was named Lorraine(Hopefully I spelt that right). I think she said she was in training? She was really nice and friendly. I asked for the Breakfast sampler which had everything I haven’t ate in a while. I asked if I could have one egg scrambled while the other one is over easy. She said she’ll have to check with the cook and will let me know. Turns out, the cook did it! The food was pretty good. The«Scary pancake» was very cute, mouth was made with whip cream and candy corn. The eyes had whip cream and mini Oreo cookies. Whip cream nose. My son liked it and ate more than half of the pancake! Overall we enjoyed our breakfast this morning. Our server Lorraine was AMAZING! ERNIE was super nice & sweet! Thank you for giving us a great experience compared to these other reviews and disappointed customers.

We went there late one night. I was excited to try their bananas foster French toast. It was hardly bananas foster. Raw bananas??? Really? Learn what bananas foster is before you put it on your menu, IHOP. Also had the sampler which is better than Denny’s sampler. However, one of the cheese sticks out of the three had no cheese in it?! But at least thy give you an adequate amount of chicken strips unlike Denny’s who gives you one strip per person! stingy! Anyway we’re not coming back because the service sucked.

I dislike this place strongly! The service isn’t up to par. My experiences here are by far the worst than any other ihops I’ve been to. The waiter we had brought us water that had bugs in it. Once we asked for coffee he slammed it on our table. When we asked a different waiter to bring us new waters he spilled half of it. I can’t deal with this type of service. Never going back!
