I am going public and actually writing a review of McDonald’s. When I moved back to this area I was shocked to see a McDonalds right down the road from where I went to high school at. Thank god it wasn’t there when I was in school. Okay so let’s get to this. The place is clean and seems to be a newer version of the franchise. The interior feels almost like a lodge and It has a fireplace of some sort. It was one of the nicer McDonald’s I have seen. I don’t go very often-well get to that in a minute-when I do, the service is always fast. It is actually one of the few Mcdonalds that I can say has well spoken and friendly people working there. I don’t know if it’s the small town thing-I doubt it– or if it is someone that knows how to hire good people. I am not going to even talk about the food. I mean, come on, it’s fast food for god sakes. Have I ever found a bug in my food… no. Have I ever found a human finger in my fries… no. Every now and then I get hungry for salt. Yes, I said it salt. The ¼ pounder with fries is the only thing that will satisfy the crave. Damn that #3. Their mocha… don’t even get me started on this one. I am a Starbucks fan, but, if you are looking for a melted chocolate bar then get one from here. I wish they offered decaf and I would be sold on them completely. So to wrap this up if you are in a crunch and need fastfood and are familiar with the area then you know to stop here. Hardees is downtown and I still CANNOT believe that it exists, but, then again they also have Piggly Wiggly. If you are feeling adventuresome and want to eat inside it is clean and friendly and you are not going to feel like your life will be taken from you at any minute.
