Wait staff was awesome. Friendly and attentive. Had the steamed mussels and was delighted at the serving size. Very tasty dish but there was no crispy, quality bread to sop up the sauce! My big complaint is their table bread. While served warm it is just plain lousy! Cheap terrible Italian white bread with no flavor. A quality Italian restaurant should serve excellent bread that supports the meal. A good example of superb table bread is Giuseppe’s down the street. Spend the money Rosa’s and provide us with good bread.

Besides the excelled food and friendly staff my family’s lunch was free. A very nice man who I think might have been the owner, paid for our meal. Not sure why but I’ve never had anything done like that. We will be passing on that act of kindness the next chance we get to make someone else day 2 thumbs up to Rosas!!!

After a wonderful day visiting wine country, we ended the evening at ROSA’S, Pismo Beach. Cutting to the chase, this is what we ten Moms ordered and shared, family style. We each had our own cup of soup and shared a salad per two people. Carciofi fritti — fried artichokes, drizzled in balsamic vinegar 4⁄5 try it Caesar salad — 2⁄5 slightly wilted. Award winning clam chowder — 2⁄5 soup was served cool and very peppery. Short ribs — delicious. 5⁄5 try it. Ravioli di zucca– roasted butternut squash ravioli, sage, cheese, cream sauce. 4⁄5. Try it Pasta California — artichoke hearts, shiitake mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes in cream sauce, penne pasta. 4⁄5. Try it Linguini with baby clams in white– my favorite. 5⁄5. Try it Summer pasta — sautéed chicken, mushrooms, tomato, garlic, olive oil, basil, retell I pasta. 4⁄5. Try it The house bread was plain. All the dishes were delicious however each came out semi hot. I feel whatever pasta you order, you will enjoy. The short ribs and linguini with clams were excellent. Noise level little high. Friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend Rosa’s.

My friend and I stopped here on a Saturday night. We put our names on a waiting list and headed to the bar. We had raspberry lemon drops as we were waiting. They were deliciously sweet and tangy. After about 25 minutes of waiting we were seated in the dining area. The dining area ambiance seemed perfect for a date night and yet it didn’t make you feel like you were underdressed if you decided to go casual. It was perfect. The waiters were friendly and efficient. They always made sure our water glasses were full. They checked on us often and boxed up our leftovers for us. To eat my friend and I shared the bruschetta appetizer. It was delicious. We also both had the half and half(half spaghetti and half cheese ravioli). I had my order with the suggested marinara sauce. I thought the marinara sauce was perfectly made and it was obvious that the raviolis were homemade. I can’t say enough good things about the dish and the portion was large enough for leftovers for the next day. My friend swapped the marinara sauce for meat sauce. She said the meat sauce was very spicy but also enjoyed the meal. The homemade bread that they serve you when you are seated is scrumptious. I could eat it all day! I thought for the portion and quality of the food the prices were a steal! I would definitely pay more for the food at this establishment if I had to(but am glad I don’t have to). I will be back next time I make it to Pismo. If you are craving some delicious Italian cuisine, this is the place for you!

Good atmosphere, good vibes, good food, great service. We weren’t sure what to expect visiting Pismo, but Rosa’s was recommended by our hotel and we loved. The butter squash ravioli is the go to here! Even the table bread was simple and delicious. My lady got the half ravioli and half spaghetti. Was less than thrilled about her dish but was more than adequate. Definitely recommend.

I was here for a quick weekend getaway and my boyfriend and I decided on Italian. This was the most perfect Italian restaurant I have ever been to. And I’m from San Francisco, that kinda means a lot… Right off the highway and they also have a mini parking lot so try to get there early to get parking. The restaurant is huge! We sat on the patio and enjoyed every single second of it. Our waitress Margaret was amazing. Once they sit you down they bring you hot, soft, amazing and crunchy bread with butter and waters. I got the Tortellini with meat stuffed in four cheese cream, I do not regret one bit! The pasta was perfectly aldente and the sauce was to dieeeeezzzzz for! My honey got the cheese pizza, just plain cheese. But the cheese was fresh and tasted real, if you know what I mean by «real cheese». For dessert we got the chocolate lava cake, yummm! I would love if my boyfriend took me back here when we come back to visit Pismo again. Wonderful restaurant, one of my all time favorites. Highly recommend!
