This place is AWFUL! The owner was completely rude and disrespectful. When our tire(that was completely bald and flat) popped, he swore at us, and said we were unworthy of renting something else. We had to pay another $ 38! It was an awful experience that ruined all of our days. Needless to say, I will never go back there again.

What happened to the guy below with the motorized bike is horrible. Thankfully I have never had such an experience. I’ve been here a couple of times and rented the banana bikes which have been very reasonably priced and haven’t given me a problem. The owner is a 70 year old man with his wife and dog. they seem nice and very business oriented.

At first glance, I thought this was a decent place. Before we left the shop, the owner said that she would change our departure time and give us about 10 minutes more time before we would have to return our bicycle rental. That was very nice and decent of her, I thought. We had rented a 4 wheel bicycle with a surrey top. The great thing about the bike was that it seated our family of 6 and there was a battery operated motor that would help us out. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the danger that we would encounter in this death trap. The brake cable on this surrey bike was severed and the repair was not done correctly. The repair was doomed to fail. We were unfortunate to have the brake cable fail as we were going downhill and I was making a circle at the end of a cul-de-sac. I heard a snap, and I lost all braking ability. I almost slammed into a trash bin and avoided it by going up a motel parking lot driveway. Luckily the parking lot was flat and empty and we were able to coast to a stop. We called the owner up and she sent a mechanic to repair the brake cable. He repaired it in the same manner that it was fixed previously. A U-bolt bound the two ends of severed brake cable together! WTF! If that wasn’t a disaster about to happen, I don’t know what is! The cable should have been completely replaced. The owner never apologized for the incident and blamed my kids for tugging at the brake cable. My kids did not tug at the cable(I was there), and if they did, the cable should have been strong enough to resist a 10 year old’s tug, especially if it was going to stop 700+ pounds. I thought that it was reasonable to ask for a partial return of my money since I did ride the bicycle for only half of my allotted time. She said that they do not offer any returns, but if I wanted to take the 4 wheel surrey bike out for another 30 minutes, I could. Does she think that I am stupid enough to go out on the same dangerous vehicle?! I bypassed the opportunity to crash her surrey bike a second time. You should avoid them too if you want to avoid a trip to the hospital.
