they have taro, green tea, pistachio, coconut froyo in addition to the more conventional flavors. i would have liked to perceive a stronger flavor of taro, green tea, and pistachio i mixed all 3 and found the flavor component a bit weak(a higher added concentration of flavorant would be good). environment is quite nice, cool places to sit, colorful. feels like i would expect some Japanese animé characters to just walk in and sit down

I love the mango, it’s delicious! Pretty cheap compared to most(all) places! I would highly recommend this place, just don’t come in right before they close. The froyo might be a little melted because they sometimes shut them off early. I love coming here with my friends, it’s a nice atmosphere and the owner is very polite! Try this place out!

I decided to make a spontaneous trip here after craving some froyo; I usually go to Let’s Yo in South Plainfield, but hadn’t gotten to try Yogurt Dojo since it appeared in Piscataway. I walked in about an hour after it opened and was told to wait while they set up(?). After sitting awkwardly for a while, I was able to go over and help myself. The flavor selection was impressive, with interesting flavors I hadn’t seen before like Mango Lime and Taro. I wasn’t feeling too adventurous, so I opted for the fat-free, sugar-free Strawberry, which was good. The topping bar had a nice variety, including some fresh fruits(strawberries, blueberries), poppable fruit bubbles, and different candies. [On a different note: When I got to the register, they had trouble with my card and charged me twice; I was there for a while as they finally issued me a refund for the extra transaction, though in the meantime my yogurt melted maybe a quarter of the way through. Maybe pay cash if you can, to save the hassle?] The store itself is very cute, with adorable chairs and tables; I don’t usually see many people in there as I pass by, but there should be no trouble finding a seat if you’re with a group, and there are also some tables for two. Even though I was waiting here a while, the people behind the counter(the owners, I presume) seemed like nice folk. All in all, I thought it was good froyo, but I feel that it’s more worth going to Let’s Yo, which is a quick couple minutes down the road. Their yogurt doesn’t seem to melt as quickly and has a better, smoother texture(although it’s hard to judge, having only had one of Yogurt Dojo’s flavors); their topping bar is also more extensive, with more syrups and items to offer, such as waffles for your froyo and breakfast toppings. If you feel like having a sweet treat after a trip from the neighboring Shoprite or pizza parlor, Yogurt Dojo is a nice place to try at least once, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to check it out again.

Amazing place and great flavors! Not many fruity flavors, but the best in area if you like red velvet, chocolate, peanut butter etc. I would take a detour just to get a cup here :).

Yogurt Dojo has mediocre powdered bubble tea at a cheap price. The tea is mixed well but is a little watery in terms of flavor intensity. I ordered the regular milk tea. The bubbles were okay — not excellent nor terrible. Yogurt Dojo also has sixteen yogurts flavors plus combinations. If you decide to sit in, the chairs and colors are simply adorable, and then add an adorable toddler watching Chinese cartoons. I’ll eventually try the yogurt(based ont he reviews it must be the bomb?), but I really wanted tea this particular day. Oh well.

The froyo scene recently exploded in the Piscataway area, with three of them located within minutes of one another, Yogurt Dojo has quickly become my favorite. They have 16 different flavors, not including the«twisted» flavors in the middle of each machine. I haven’t tried all 16 flavors, but aside from the normal boring flavors like chocolate and peanut butter, they’re the only one within the area that has taro and green tea — my 2 favorites. Their selection of toppings is on par with most self-serve froyo places, including popping bubbles in a variety of flavors. Also tried their taro bubble tea, and even though it was made with powder, it doesn’t taste as powdery as most other places, which is why I usually try to avoid ordering taro. I’m glad I made an exception here! As for the bubble themselves, they tasted fresh and squishy, but didn’t have enough syrup and therefore isn’t sweet enough. Don’t forget to get a stamp card! Buy 9 get 1 free… works on both froyo and bubble tea. Can’t wait to go back!

what a great yogurt place full of bright but not too obnoxiously colorful furniture. I’ve been here twice since they have opened. very conveniently located next to shop rite. it is owned by a couple with the most adorable daughter, and they are all very nice. The place is huge so it’s a nice place to sit and talk with friends. they also offer a lot of different flavors, at least ten different kinds, many of which i hadn’t seen before, even in that fancy frozen yogurt place on nassau street in princeton. i also like how yogurt dojo places flavors next to each other that you’d want to eat together so you can blend them together. like cookies & cream and thin mints are next to each other, so that the middle flavor is mint cookies & cream. the toppings are pretty typical of other frozen yogurt places. they also have bubble tea, which i haven’t tried. i’d recommend coming here.
