The Hub Pub is a beautiful little gem located about half a mile past the Plumsteadville Inn in Plumsteadville. I had my engagement party there on New Years day and it was spectacular! My friends went down early before noon and helped the staff dress up the space and it was perfect! The food was plenty and delicious. Definitely try the filet mignon if you’re big into meat or the chicken with broccoli. The owner is a really friendly easy-going guy who does an A+ job of giving you a great food and beer experience always. He’s great to work with and will meet whatever needs you might have for your party. He’s got some great waiters and bartenders too. There’s always live music or if you want you can bring in a DJ. It’s a beautiful warmly-colored space with a really neat game room in the back. There is a dart board, pool tables and a digital bowling shuffle board. There’s also a touch-tunes system in the back to mess around with and booth seating. Definitely worth planning a party there. Give it a try!

Great place to chill out. Excellent service and they care about what you want. The owner Adele knows about running a reaturant. Lots of folks like the live music. New place building a base of good folks from the area. Pub style food with a touch of class. Good drinks and good prices. I like the pasta aribiata, but the people I was with loved the sandwiches.

Been here three or four times. It was delicious would recommend to anyone. Homemade soup and salad dressing. … Yum. The owner is hands-on and always there, and concerned to make sure everything is perfect and that you are happy as a customer. I highly recommend you give them a try… You will not regret it!

Took my family for Dinner and was extremely disappointed with managements philosophy about the lack of understanding of customer satisfaction. Long story short, food OK, Drinks overpriced but here’s the kicker… ordered steak sandwich, received chicken steak(not what I ordered). Told waitress that I’d keep it because 1) I don’t believe in sending anything back to the kitchen(have family that works in the restaurant business that tells me horrible things that people do to food that gets sent back) 2) I also don’t believe in throwing food away, which is what should have happened to this incorrectly delivered meal. Waitress was great, but not a single offer to credit a drink, give something towards the next visit, etc. Left a 20+% tip and told waitress to tell owners that they would never see me or my family again!!! If anybody has gotten this far in reading this review, I know that there are many other hard working patrons besides myself who are just sick and tired of having to act like a jerk to get what is deserved, by making a scene or acting rudely. Thankfully, companies like Unilocal allow us to expose the current situations that exist within restaurants, giving ownership a chance to correct the issues for future patrons or suffer the fate of FAILURE that MOST business’ experience when they don’t put customer satisfaction above all else(and I’m not talking about drunk jerks)! Good Luck!!!

Refused to let me buy take out beer due to my out of state ID. The owner then proceeded to tell me he only was accepting Pennsylvania identification and told me to have someone else buy me the beer. A friend from high school was sitting at the bar who he let buy the beer for me. What a joke.

Somehow missed that the Hub Pub had taken up next to my fav pizza place. We were looking for a little more than pizza, so we gave HP a try. It’s still very new, so it wasn’t too busy, but I have a feeling it will be, soon. The menu is small, but varied. The hubby really liked the variety of beers offered, from staple American brews to some great craft beers. I ordered the Onion Blossom, just because. Yum, yum, yum. OK, it’s been done, but not in awhile. The Husband had said he really wasn’t interested when I ordered, but within seconds he was reaching over to try. I had the fish and chips — not your traditional cod n plank fries, but it was perfectly cooked, crispy outside, tender inside, the fries crunchy-crisp. The taste made up for it not being the expected battered cod n chips. The Husband had the gyros, lamb and beef, stuffed into a tasty flatbread with just the right amount of tzatziki. The server was friendly, informed and efficient. The owner came over to ask how we liked our meal, answered some questions but didn’t hover. When the server dropped off the check, she also asked how the meal was. We told her that the bread was the only thing we didn’t enjoy. It wasn’t bad, it was just bland. She came back with the slip to sign, and let us know she’d told the owner about the bread, and that they would be getting a new bread supplier soon. Nice — staff that reports back, and management that seems to be listening to customers! We’ll be going back to The Hub Pub. We’ve heard good things about the burgers, and I want to try some of the sammies. I’ll let you know about the bread ;)

The wonderful folks from the Lime Light in Doylestown have relocated to Pipersville, PA just north on 611. It is in a shopping center set back from the road, right next to Groveland Grill and near the new Spatolas Pizza. There is ample parking, and the area is well lit. The concept is similar to the Lime Light, with a slightly reduced menu. There are still the great salmon dishes, the appetizer with crab and avocado, and some pastas. They have added some additional items like falafel, The bar is quite comfortable, with multiple televisions, and the tradition of musical entertainment on the weekend continues. Currently there is a full bar, but the draght system is not set up yet. I had a gyros sandwich, served with lamb/beef and the traditionl lettuce, tomato and onion with tsatsiki sauce. The meat was a generous portion, and the pita was nice and warm. It was accompanied by fries which were ok, though I would have preferred them to be a bit crisper. Overall I look forward to returning!
