House Of Blends Barber Club

Went there since they were open on a Monday and really needed a cut. Big mistake, should’ve just waited for my regular barber. Got the worst cut of my life, with no time or care put into it at all. Never again!!!

Fastest haircut I’ve ever had. First and last time trying this spot. Didn’t get barbers name but he’s a short chubby guy, left side, second or third booth. Guess there was a reason everyone had a wait besides him. My little brother could’ve done a better job than this. I’m sure the other barbers are probably better. But I won’t be back to find out.

Never bringing my son here again. Simple fade & they left my son f****d up! They left him with razor burn all over his hairline, almost looks like bruising. Do they not clean their clippers? Honestly. Don’t bring your kids here.

The House Of Blends is a great barber shop with an old school atmosphere. My barber «J Razor» is always on top of his game. His blade game is second to none. Imagine getting a shave with the razor blade, hot towel, followed by a facial moisturizer. With J Razor and the House of Blends, you aren’t imagining: it’s the real deal. Afros, bald fades, mohawks, flat tops, dye jobs, staight hair, curly hair, thick hair, HOB is the place to go! Great service in a great atmosphere!

I took my son there since my regular barber for my child was out sick. No one greeted me or even made eye contact. A guy finally did give my child a haircut and was literally done in 8 minutes. He didn’t check it or ask me to. My son’s other barber takes about 20 minutes and is usually spot on so I’m not used to doing a check anyway. I wish I had.
Later I noticed my son had two patches right in the front on each side that were cut so much lower than the rest of his hair that it looked like bald spots from certain angles. I meant to go back and get a refund but never did partly because I didn’t have time and partly because with the kind of reception I got in the first place — I doubt if anyone would’ve cared. There were a bunch of kids in there so I thought they would know what they were doing. There were other barbers and I don’t know what their work is like that’s why I’m giving it two stars instead of one but I doubt if I’ll ever go back.

I walked in today to the Barber Club today at 2:15 in the afternoon, one customer was getting their hair cut, and three other just sitting around watching TV or just doing nothing.
No one said hello, no one asked if we needed help, no acknowledgement at all. My girl asked if they had any openings and the person cutting hair answered begrudgingly «can you hold on a second?»
We waited about 5 minutes and then walked out.
I think it is because we both are white, and all four people working were black… At least that is how it felt.
So my recommendation is that if you are not black-​skinned to stay away from this place.

Horrible unorganized don’t know whose next, wasted my time never ever will go here, lucky I can’t do zero stars.

Best place to get your hair cutt. Professional environment plus good jokes. Multiple barbers and they all know how to cutt hair and some know how to do great designs. Reasonable pricing also. Would recommend everyone to go here.

Even thou I live in Berkeley is still travel to come see NATE for the last few years! On top of being a great Barber he good dude!

Good barbers here. All of them. Even down to the light skinned braddah. Lol. Always asked for Roc when I went in and he would give me a sick fade.

Came here for the new year wanted to start it off right by getting my side cut great service great atmosphere will be back to see J more often with keepin my cut maintained thanx J

Went back today. Walked up and Mariano greeted me and sat me in his chair. Attentive and quick. Great haircut! No pain or stinging from the alcohol wipe. I will be back… Thanks Mariano!

I went here for the first time the other day and can I tell you I have found a new place for my hairs to be cut. I have been looking for a Barber who cut my hair in the past (Boo) and I found him. He does phenomenal hair designs and any cut you would prefer. I like a mid taper these days and seems to work for any occasion being in my mid 30’s and all not wanting to look like I was trying to look young with a young man’s hair cut with stars and stripes.
Searching Unilocal I found this place and to my surprise the barber who I had been looking for. YESssss! It was a saturday morning and it was busy so that’s always a good thing at a barber shop. He had a few people ahead of me so he recommend me to his colleague and my hair was fantastic. I wish I could remember the barber’s name but he wears black frame glasses and has a long beard is probably the best way that I can describe him.
I would recommend both of these guys to all of my friends and family and just about anyone wanting a great Hair’s cut. :)

My boyfriend comes here faithfully every Thursday to get his hair cut by Nate and the reason I give this place 5 stars is because he makes my boyfriends hair look good!!! He comes back nicely cut cut, lined up, and HANDSOME. It seems like Nate is the guy to see to get a cut from because when my boyfriend goes there sometimes he has to wait as Nate has a line of people just waiting for that particular barber. If a barber has a line then that must say something right?

Best barbershop in town. The Best Barber is Nate highly recommended. I’ve been cutting my hair with him for about four years.

I went on a whim while I was transitioning from chemically treated hair to a teeny-​weeny afro. I don’t know who cut my hair, but he was careful and took his time to get it right. He also made sure that i wanted to cut off all of my hair.
My cut was feminine and he did continuous check-​ins to make sure he was giving me exactly what I wanted.
Planning to go back again soon and will update with his name when I find it out!

Jason cuts my grandson’s hair and does a fantastic job! Rarely a long wait which I appreciate. Easy to park and next to a grocery store which is handy.
So happy I don’t have to go to Mark’s at the mall anymore. First of all, the mall is depressing and often there is such a long wait. This was a good move for the barbers who left Mark’s shop.

Even though I live in San Francisco, I have been going to Nate for haircuts for years now. He is worth the 45 minute drive, and his cuts are worth 5 stars. I am glad he moved from Mark’s Barber Shop in the Hilltop Mall to House of Blends, a new shop in Pinole. The vibe here is much nicer and all the barbers are friendly, so I don’t mind that it’s a little further out of my way.
The one area where they could improve would be getting someone to push the broom more often; when they are busy, old hair sits too long. But that detail would never stop me from getting great cuts from Nate!
TIP: Don’t come during peak hours. After 4:30, this place gets packed, regardless of barber.

Had a great experience with the house of blends! Very welcoming to my son and I. The big guy I’m Sorry but forgot his name got us in an out and was very professional! I’ve found a new shop for my son now!
