Not happy with your pool service??? Well I suggest you call Claire over at Contra Costa Pool Service. Claire and his crew took over Contra Costa Pool Service from a previous owner in 2013 while I was managing a building in Alameda. While I was happy with the previous owners service of the pools Claire came in and noticed right away that one of our pools was a liability and immediately brought it to our attention that we needed an immediate repair before someone was seriously injured. For the next year or so Claire worked patiently with my Supervisor(who can be very demanding) and I in switching us into a more cost effective service by reducing our visits to 1x per week in the winter. Not only did he help us save money but we use far less chemicals(more savings) in the pool because his technician Rob has it balanced so well. Speaking of Rob, what a knowledgeable pool tech. He has been great since he can repair things during his cleaning service(if time allows) where before we had a service tech and a separate repair tech within the same company which delayed most repairs for a week. Very professional service from some great guys, I just wish the owner of the building I work at now would switch to CCPS. My current service only vacuums«as needed» and lets just say their as needed is not very frequent even though we have several trees surrounding the pool. Don’t take my word for it try them out if you are unhappy with your current service and let them show you!!!

What can I say, we switched pool providers after an unhappy experience, so they were already behind they 8-ball so-to-speak. However, we were pleasantly impressed by their service, their knowledge, and their ability to be effective. We have a salt water pool, and it has been a hassle trying to find a place that will not only clean your pool but care for it as their own, and then also maintain the equipment. Clare and his team have been able to do so. We had a rocky start, as I believe maybe we were caught in the middle of the old an the new owners, so there was some confusion, but it was worked out. Overtime we have had to make some big decisions, which were very costly. But with their guidance, COMMUNICATION, and patience, and help with us juggling the costs of it all, it was well worth it. Our pool floor, which we were told was damaged forever, and that it would cost thousand to resurface, they were able to just perform a high level of cleaning and servicing and it was brought back to its original state, like when it was first installed — over ten years ago! Amazing! For that they are amazing. The only downfall, is that i think the technicians sometimes may not be as knowledgeable about the accounts and what their responsibilities are when they come to service. Therefore a few times we were not serviced properly. This was unfortunate and an extra hassle we don’t want to have to manage, or always have to keep our eyes on. However, this was corrected very quickly and ownership taken which i can appreciate. I would TOTALLY recommend this team to care for your pool. Relationships are built and this is the team you want to build with. Check them out if you want to keep a nice, clean, useable pool, and with folks who care.

If you want great service from a pool service company call Contra Costa Pool Service. I’ve had other service companies before and couldn’t believe the lack of professionalism. Just called with an equipment problem. To my surprise the owner shows up within 20 minutes on a Friday!!! All this and a family owned business. Perfect

I have been with Contra Costa Pool Service since 2004. In 2013, the new owner, Clare Langford took over the company. Aside from the weekly service, I have had them out to replace the filter system and plan to have a pump replaced. In all my dealings with Clare and his employees, I have found the workmanship and responsiveness exemplary.

Good luck with this place… I’m having trouble with my pool filter, so I decided to give them a call(Tuesday, 5÷3÷11). I explained the issue, they took my information, and I was told they would call back to set up an appointment for Wednesday(5÷4÷11) or Friday(5÷6÷11). I finally received a call on Monday(5÷9÷11) and was able to set up an appointment for Wednesday, 5÷11÷11 at 10am. It’s now 1:45pm on 5÷11÷11 and no one has shown up or called me. Apparently this company isn’t being effected by the bad economy, since they don’t seem to need my business! I’m calling someone else… Update Note: Upgrading to 2 stars because they actually did show up. On Friday, 5÷13÷11. Unannounced. But I think their free consultation saved me some $$.

Great service! Was able to explain issues with had with our filter and actually fix it which more than what I can say for other companies. Nice friendly staff. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area with a pool to check these guys out. I know now who I’m going to for any maintenance!

First week of November our 15 year old Hayward filter casing split pouring water all over and rendering my beautiful jarrah wood hot tub unusable. My husband called all over for a replacement filter and someone to install it but no one seemed very interested. The few people that showed interest we couldn’t even afford to have come out and look. We had done business with CCPools many years ago when it was owned and run by Will and Rita but we knew they had retired. We gave CCPool Center a call and Joel was out the next day with a free estimate and later with repairs. Joel was delightful, the repairs went quickly and easily and it was afordable. We are soooooo happy with Contra Costa Pool Center and don’t mind telling anyone who asks. We will never waste time again looking for hot tub service when we know we can actually afford the best.
