Very hot in there. No air to keep electric bill down. Bathrooms were nasty. Old equipment. Not there anymore either.

Pros: cheap. Most free weight and cable equipment you would need or want, lots of machines, treadmills and ellipticals. Cons: dirty, old beat up equipment(still works just old), usually hotter than hell and /or humid. i started here in October as I was looking for a place with a decent free weight set up, benches and a squat rack. It wasn’t the nicest place in the world but it was big and three minutes from my house and $ 20/month so I figured whatever. Old weights still weigh the same and I don’t need a lot of foo foo stuff. My major issue since I’ve joined with the place, and the one thing they could change to get a 3 star review would be to TURNONTHEAIRCONDITIONING. I usually work out first thing in the morning and pretty much if the outside temp is below 72 degrees they will have the front doors open and maybe the back, regardless of relative humidity. No fans. And the place is the size of half a Winn Dixie, 3 doors aren’t going to circulate air by themselves. I’ve been there and it’s mid 60’s outside but foggy or raining and there is hardly any oxygen in the place. During hotter days when they do run the AC it’s set to 85 or something. My garage is cooler than this place most of the time. In fact lifting heavy with short rest periods is also pretty much impossible for me. Intervals are out of the question. I’ve seen on other review sites I’m not the only one that has noticed this. So all in all if you have a high heat tolerance, don’t need new stuff or creature comforts and want to work out for $ 20 a month this is your place. As for me, I think I’ll be doing someplace farther away that’s nicer when my year is up.
