Nail Trap & Day Spa

Okay, so some of the women have attitudes, but idgaf because my nails look amazing. I said I wanted square, guess what??? She ACTUALLY did square filing. Mind blown. They actually take their time, and even though I work in healthcare, my nails still look fabulous after 2 weeks (which you can’t achieve at a lazy salon). I can handle a little attitude to have bangin nails. Oh well.

Sat in cold water for ten minutes while two techs were on their phone the entire time. Ended up walking out to go somewhere else for the service.

My mother does nails in Jacksonville, so i know what to expect. I got a pedicure done last week. The lady rushed to do my toes and didn’t do top coat. She didn’t paint the polish on the nails correctly and some onto my skin. Nice people, but they are slacking.

Went in on the spur of the moment, so understandably we were going to wait. When I asked if they could fit in two pedicures they said yes (hard to understand) and to sign in. We sat for a few minutes, then got sat into pedicure chairs, he filled our water and left us sitting there for 20+ mins, which eventually the water got cold. Everyone else working was busy, and no one seemed to want to work quickly or at all. Then a couple came in after we have been sitting for 20+ mins, they sat them down and started on them even though we came in first and they didn’t have an appointment. Finally about half hour or so later two people finally started on us, reluctantly. The massage was terrible and they all talked in their language, which in sure was t pleasant talk. Never again will we go back there, since they obviously don’t want our business.

The women are so rude and ungrateful for your business. They treated me like garbage. I ask for my nails done a certain way and I asked nicely and the woman told me to go have someone else do them.

I love this place. Not very many places you can get a paraffin pedicure. This has been my go to nail shop for 8 yrs now. Very clean, never had a problem or complaint!

I’m currently here on vacation and came to get a quick manicure… a complete waste of my time. The woman that greeted me had an attitude the second I walked in that I chose to ignore at first. She then sat me down and started to remove my polish but as soon as she was finished with that she switched to a girl who had walked in after me and was getting a pricier manicure. Ok so that took 5 minutes, then she gets up, takes her time going to the bathroom, then comes out and takes her time doing her hair and straightening out other thing while I’m sitting there looking like an idiot… another 5 minutes… and then proceeds to go back to the other girl. Sorry, but in my mind that’s total BS so I got up and said forget it. The staff was rude, the service poor, and I would literally rather pay a 5 yr old to do my nails than this joke of a place.

Got a pedicure done. Barely shaped my toes, the edges of the nails are sharp. The gloves she used were used before (there was nail polish on it) I couldn’t tell if the supplies were sanitized. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didnt spray the tubs woth sanitizer between customers. She did not cover the entire nail bed with polish and I had to ask her to redo one of my toes. Also, she didn’t even wait for each coat to dry before putting on the next. If she wasn’t so nice, I would have been tempted to barely tip at all. I won’t be going back.

If there was a lower score I would have given it. I went in for a simple fill. The girl was nice. But couldn’t shape my nails. I ended up with short uneven stubs. I voiced my unhappiness with her and the manger. Pointless don’t waste your money.

I give it 5 stars because u get great service at a reasonable price. They do a fantastic job.

I just moved to the area and found this nail salon on Unilocal.Nice atmosphere, great service, and fair prices. I had Amy, she did a great job with my fill. I can’t wait to go back for a pedicure!

I was very surprised to see negative reviews here. I originally went to a different salon in the same plaza. Well. when it was time to pay, the woman took my debit card and id out of my wallet (my hands were wet)
a few hours later, i realized she returned the id, but not the card. She also changed several hundred dollars on it.
With that said, I went to the Nail Trap.
From the second I walked in, the woman who I assume is the owner was friendly and helpful with my questions. She beautifully fixed the horrible job I got at the prior shop. I have been there four times since. the owner did my full set twice. They’ve held up for 3 weeks! She does and amazing job.
The last two times, Amy did my nails.WOW. these women are wonderful. The first time she did them, I kept it very simple and just wanted to try out my new nfu-​oh polish. They were stunning and lasted three weeks as well.
I have joined many nail polish blogs and have come up with so many beautiful ideas. I brought a picture to Amy, and she recreated it perfectly.
Splurge for the gel nails, you’ll never look back.
