Alpha Stone Work Granite Marble & Onyx

If I could leave nothing I would. This needs to be known. The treatment we have received from this company is unfair. I signed a contract on August 27^th. Picked out the stone that would be put in my kitchen and installed within fourteen days. I paid jay 1,000 cash deposit and that left me with half that for a balance. Over a month and a half later and two templates that were cut incorrectly and the stress and hassle of missing work, changing shifts, cancelled appointments by alpha granite. The first install was delivered by two men that didn’t even work for alpha granite I know this because they gave me their card and offered me assistance in the future They were embarrassed to deliver a beautiful slab of granite that was cut improperly. See pics. So they left with the slab and left us without counters for another two weeks. So jay shoes up and we were promised a bathroom vanity in place of all the headaches and stress as an apology from The company. Alpha granite complains they are short staffed. And that the company went from 7 to 2 employees, well if you are a busy business you are lucky, take care of your customers. Hire people. Have respect. Show up on time. Every appointment I have had they have been at least 1.5 hours late. Install the second time was almost six hours and they still have not caulked the back splash, they claim they didn’t have the clear, They cracked a corner piece of granite moving my stove and now that had to be repaired, so after almost two months I have reconditioned counter tops. So now today is the day for the bathroom vanity install and we received texts from jay the manager saying Chris the owner will not let them do the bath for free and he will only deduct $ 150 from total, for canceled appointments, late arrivals, wrong template, and cracked granite plus the headaches. He now says he will put a lien on our home if he isn’t paid on Wednesday. Fortunately my contract says parent due when work is complete. I sit here waiting, wondering how and why people would treat others this way. It’s the lack of communication, terrible customer service, that saddens us. What an absolute nightmare. I hope this helps others cause it is not human or fair to treat people this way. A lien on our house for what you have put us through! Amazing guys! Do what you promised.

As the work is being completed, he checks to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. He was always available, courteous and completely trust worthy. Chris has finished 2 bathrooms for us & can’t wait to see what he does with our kitchen. We would highly recommend him for any granite job you are thinking about.
