Kraz Elegant Cakes

I’ve only tried their cakes. They look very beautiful and the frosting is generally very light, not too sweet and with a beautiful texture. The cake itself though I find it to be dry and not very flavorful. I am not sure how much they charge for a double layer cake, because I have never bought one, just ate cakes that were given to coworkers as birthday gifts. If the cake was as good as the frosting, I would give a much higher rating, but alas, a homemade cake from a box is probably moister and more satisfying.

Sign said «open», but as checking out the guy behind the counter said «You know we are closed, getting ready for festival».

The two cupcakes purchased were as good as the customer service… Both ended up in the trash. How does a cupcake taste like chicken?! Weird. We will not be back.

Umm… I honestly don’t know what to say. The 4 other reviewers have either never eaten a cupcake elsewhere, or have a relationship with the owners.
These are, by far, the smallest cupcakes I’ve ever seen sold. At $ 2.50 a pop, you will get a much better bang for your buck and your palate going to Fresh Market.
I can only comment the cupcakes, besides being small, they didn’t appear to have the same level of décor and fine ingredients that most professional cupcakeries offer. They also only had about 3 varieties to choose from. 1 chocolate chip cookie…$ 1.25…ridiculous.
Again, please read my plenty of other reviews of cupcake places, e.g.Georgetown Cucpcakes, Sprinkles, etc… winners of national contests. While that might not make me a cupcake connoisseur, it certainly allows me to comment from experience
THM (Take Home Message): If all you’re looking for is a cupcake, keep driving. In fact, if store bought cupcakes like Fresh Market aren’t the thing for you, then keep driving North… to Raleigh… and go to GiGi’s. By far, the cupcake king of the Sandhills area. I cannot comment on their decorative cakes… though at over $ 80 for a full sheet cake… I would hope they are rimmed with Gold.

Best cupcakes I have ever had! I have tried 3 flavors so far and cannot wait to try them all. Robert & Lena are incredibly friendly and their little shop has it all!
This is the perfect place for a jaw dropping cake, a specialty coffee, adorable yet incredible quality cupcakes, delicious bagels and handmade breads (and much more) — all baked fresh daily. They have made loyal customers out of us as I’m sure they will do for anyone who swings by or plans a cake with them.

Very cute/​modern cake shop! Wonderful cakes and cupcakes! Great variety and best flavors in town! Would highly recommend! Always very pleasant and helpful! You should see some of the cakes that they are able to create! Amazing!

They also created my daughters 16^th birthday cake a few months ago and it was fantastic! They even delivered to a nearby venue.
