We are so welcomed here! With 13 people including my family. They are nice people and so accomodating. Their customer service is great! I will recommend this restaurant if you are heading to Mount Laguna or Alpine in San Diego area. This restaurant easily gets packed though. I really love to come back here again and again!

Starbucks needs to open in this sleepy town so that no coffee-seeking person ever has to be subjected to the wretched woman who owns this place. Total lunatic. She was so rude that I couldn’t bring myself to spend my money here. Best. Decision. Ever. When passing through, drive a few more miles and stop in Jacumba instead and join me in supporting places and owners who appreciate potential customers.

A few months ago I was in Majors on a snowday and Pine Valley was packed full of flatlanders who were obviously up for the snow and as I was leaving the restaurant, the cashier was turning away some newly arriving guests, telling them that they closed at, I believe 2 pm on weekdays and I was kind of shocked as this is the only casual sitdown restaurant for miles around. My advise to management is that in the morning when you realize that its going to be a snowday in your town, that you send somebody, anybody, down to Smart & Final or Costco to pick up some quick additional supplies to keep your restaurant open for a couple more hours to serve the people who have been patronizing Majors for many many years now. It’s kind of your duty in my opinion, that when taking on the responsibility of running the towns only casual eatery, that you serve the people when the demand is there!

It’s pretty solid! Jenny and I stopped here before embarking on our cross country road trip, and the excitement overrode any real impression of the place. It was busy, and the food was reasonably good, so I would probably come back if there was ever another opportunity.

Stopped in to have lunch on the way home from Arizona. The special of the day was a western bacon cheeseburger and it was the best burger I have had in a long time. The burger patty was very large and juicy and the onion rings were also incredible. And all for only 8 bucks! I recommend getting the onion rings over the fries which were just average. The place was busy so it seems like a very popular place. The service was good and the food came quickly. I don’t get to Pine Valley very often but next time I’m in the area I will definetly be stopping by for another burger.

The drive out to this country restaurant was very nice. The décor very diner like, including a food bar to be seated at with direct view of the hot window. Jesse was our server very nice. The food was good, when it finally arrived. It seemed like eternity after we ordered, almost 30 minutes, until the food arrived. The coffee was good and strong in giant mugs. Then came the bill… I can add as I order, but for 2 adults and 2 children a $ 45. bill and a half hour wait for breakfast was not worth the drive.
