Jennings Land Surveying

He was suggested by a friend in the real estate business and I contacted him in 2011 about an apparently incorrect survey done by another surveyor.
He had great suggestions and a sympathetic ear after viewing the result.
Apparently old neighborhoods such as Point Loma, Mission Hills and especially Golden Hill can yield varying results based on the surveyors choice of starting points.
His suggestions to solve it amicably were well aimed.

We needed a land surveyor to map our property coordinates to enable us to replace our dilapidated fence, and specifically to block out difficult neighbors who have been incredibly intrusive. That all said, my husband and I cannot say enough about how professional, precise and all around amazing Paul was. Even the way he interacted with our neighbors was impressive to say the least. We were so appreciative with how completely thorough he was from start to finish, which included a compilation of maps and all pertinent paperwork and information. Prior to even coming to our home, he had completed thorough research of our property and furthermore, was great at communicating with us throughout the process of filing the paperwork with our city. After meeting with us, he also sent a very thoughtful thank you card, which was simply a rare, considerate, generous act; one that we have not seen from any of the contractors we’ve worked with the past few years.

Paul has been a surveyor for my project building new house of my own in Rancho Bernado area. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I used him for topo survey, corner staking and as built foundation certificate. It wouldn’t be any better than his service. I’m very satisfied by his quality of work and promptness. Prompt and efficient, Paul finished the job on-​time and on-​budget. This was a full survey of an empty parcel of land that I’m building a house on in South Park. After his initial quote, I called out another 20 items that I wanted flagged. The bid hardly changed at all and in addition he was able to locate the old corners and put in boundary markers while he was doing the survey. This saved me having to schedule a second trip at extra cost. He gets back to you immediately and the finished product looks great. Hire this guy!

So… where do you find a land surveyor? Unilocal,of course. The only surveyor with 5 stars but maybe Unilocal should have a plus sign or something like a star. Anyway. Our neighbors are making a mess of their backyard and thought we were on their property I called Paul and he called back a little while later saying he was sorry he took so long to call back. (It was like 2 hours.). He was on his way to Tahoe the next day but I told him our story and had decided that the extra wait for him to get back from vacation would be ok when he decided that he would come survey our property before he left the next morning. Really? Who would do that? Well he showed up. Did an excellent job, even put in stakes along the line instead of just at the corners! Awesome! And yesterday I got a card from him thanking us for our business
SO…if you need surveying truthfully, look no farther, this is the guy. Also, I was worried that he was from Pine Valley and we are in Pacific Beach but the distance is no problem for him!

I’m buying a house in San Diego city heights area and i need to build a fence to keep the neighbors kids off my property. I found his number on Unilocal,I gave him a call at 6:04pm thinking i would just have to leave a message. Surprisingly he answered and he was very nice, polite, he explained everything very clearly. I really had no idea how much go’s into serving. Well he asked for the address and said he would call me back in about 20 min. About 20 min later he really did call me back. This was a Wednesday at 6:46pm. He was honest enough to tell me that I may be able to find someone cheaper that may have already done some work in this area. he said call around first so I don’t pay him for work that may have already been done. I would recommend him.

Paul provided a free estimate with a free site visit to my property. He had a good attitude and he was very professional while getting the work done efficiently. To me, land surveying is a combination of technical skills and hard-​work: going through thick bushes, climbing up steep terrains and digging a deep hole at a right place when locating existing monuments. Paul seems to know his stuff and he got it done right with no cheating. I was very glad that he was my land surveyor.
