Very very cute local restaurant. Fresh food and the bakery goods are amazing! They are usually I. Columbus area downtown o. Saturday mornings for farmers market. Finally was able check out their store location. The food was amazing as well. Highly recommend this if you are in the area.

Super tasty bread and great pastries. The croissants are so crispy and delicious. Sure, it’s not super cheap, but that’s how it is when you use quality ingredients and don’t make stuff in a factory. It’s most definitely worth it.

We were here from Atlanta visiting the gardens and decided to stop here. The weirdest and most awkward brunch experience we have ever had! So if you go here and maybe 1 of you is not hungry or you don’t like other things on the menu, you can’t just order 1 dish and maybe split it. The server tells us, «they scare me, let me check if they will let me split your dish.» We told her, just get the order, don’t have to split it. She was so scared and weird that we felt like we were or she was in a jail! No joke. Then she comes back and tells us, «they said they will charge you $ 3 if you split it.» Just a word of advice — it doesn’t matter what you charge or what kind of food you have, if you make your customers feel so awkward about something so minuscule! What a strange business and work ethic. Never had such an experience«ever» at any restaurant«ever». Anyway, we almost walked out, but they had the order out before we did, so we were stuck. Tasteless food to top it all off. Despite limited options in the area, you are Much better off avoiding this crap hole!

«Let’s go back to Pine Mountain and buy some bread!» my daughter, 7, keeps reminding me. There are many reasons to visit the cute little town of Pine Mountain, and Rose Cottage and the bread they sell is definitely one of them. We became aware of the bakery thanks to a photo in the Georgia State Parks brochure showing Rose Cottage’s tables on the sidewalk and people enjoying coffee and chocolate croissants. Usually not one to turn down a sweet treat, I looked for this promising place during our spring break vacation and was happy to find that the bakery not only offers sweet baked goods but also delicious breads, looking temptingly at us through the large window and inviting us in. Rose Cottage’s breads are the real thing, no industrially produced sugared sponges but hearty loaves with crunchy crusts. We bought the«bread of the week», made of whole grain flour, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese. Half of it was eaten right away… Even though we did not have the chocolate croissant we had come for in the first place, we did have cappuccino and soda. We truly enjoyed the quaint and friendly atmosphere of the café, the creaky wooden floor boards, old-fashioned porcelain, wall decorations and furniture of old times, which made us feel absolutely comfortable. Even the restroom was literally a room to rest and relax: hidden underneath the staircase, very clean and fancily equipped as you would expect a restroom from the 50s to look like. Before heading back to Atlanta a couple of days later, we came back for some more bread to take home: Cranberry Walnut Bread, Whole Wheat Bread and once more the Walnut Gorgonzola Bread. Each of them turned out to be as delicious and savory as the first one we had. Sure enough, the loaves are more expensive than your supermarket-bought bread, but each dollar you pay is well spent.

A quaint little bakery set in a small town in Georgia. We visited from Wisconsin, and enjoyed fantastic cookies and better coffee than you will get anywhere else in the area. The ambiance will draw you in and the staff will make you want to stay all day.

Loved it! What a great find. Food was wonderful and most of the employees were extremely helpful and friendly(one waitress was a sourpuss but not rude or anything) we went for lunch but the dinner menu looked really interesting. The atmosphere was very nice – I want a powder room like their ladies room!

bread. need I say more? ok, then I will. Pastries. Muffins. Good coffee. Cute place, we only stopped for breakfast and bread, but the lunch menu looked very appealing too. Should be part of any trip to Pine Mountain

LOVEIT! We followed our favorite baker here from Columbus’ farmers market because his bread is THAT good! We visited the Café on Sunday and had the brunch menu. Each of us tried a different entrée. The asian pork choice was our favorite but, the salmon wrapped in pastry with asparagus was also delish. The Panko chicken dish was a little boring but, I like lots of flavor. My mom on the other hand LOVED it and it was well cooked, moist, and complimented with arugula salad and mustard dressing. The starter was gourmet and super tasty! Watermelon with goat cheese and balsamic sauce! Yum! and the dessert was home grown blueberry tart: not too sweet and light after our good sized portion main course. Service was excellent and accommodating. We will be back for sure. Rich flakey chocolate croissants and artisan bread is worth the drive from Columbus!!!

Cute little place. Bread is delicious and extremely overpriced, but I loved it. It was worth every penny. Cranberry walnut has become my new fave, but I don’t think I’d fork out the $ 8+ again. It was a nice treat :)

It’s a tea room, but unlike most tea rooms, normal people will not starve here. They have an awesome selection or tea… and coffee if that’s what you prefer. The menu is small, but it’s pretty delicious stuff. There is also a wicked cool little antique store inside… and everything there is an antique and for sale. Including the chairs and table that you are sitting at. Every painting and figurine… everything. It’s obviously wicked expensive, but cool to look at all the stuff. I wish I had bought some boxes of their tea when I was there, it was so good.
