I wasn’t expecting a high end restaurant meal in Pine Mountain Club but I got one! I ordered the filet mignon special and it was amazing! The creamy dijon sauce was great with the filet! My daughter’s fries were fantastic! Poblano chicken taquitos were really good! Chips and salsa were ok. But dessert… oh dessert!!! We got it to go and it was a wonderful treat to enjoy later at the Inn next door! Between the 3 of us we got chocolate silk pie, banana cream pie and lemon cheesecake. All were good but the cheesecake was the best! Go here! You won’t be disappointed!

The night before thanksgiving, we were staying in the village and wandered in here to find it packed. We just barely got a table, and apparently should have made reservations. If you come up during high season, make reservations. The poor server was stretched way too thin, but about 20 minutes after we arrived, a second server showed up. Our table of 6 waited almost an hour for our food, but it was a really busy night. All the food, however, was incredible. Huge portions. Had the leftovers for lunch later in the weekend, and it was even better then. Make reservations. It’s worth it. And nothing else in PMC compares. Really.

They run out of things, a lot. And the last time I ordered a pick up to go two different dishes for dinner they were bland and expensive.

When you come to a place as remote as the Pine Mountain Club, you have to expect that you are not walking into a 5-star experience by, say, New York City standards. I will happily grant you that if this place were in the middle of LA or Chicago, you would probably give it a pass. It is not terrifically distinctive, or edgy, or posh, as some of the reviewers here seem to have expected. What it is, is in the middle of the woods, people! So, allow me to re-start this review with an understanding that we are talking about a restaurant *in the middle of the woods*. Given this, the place is inarguably(real word? inarguably?) outstanding. In the middle of the woods, it turns out that you can get some super nice fish & chips! In the middle of the woods, you can get some great meat balls, or a steak! Or a raspberry beer! And holy lord is it cheap. So, not to belabor the point, compared to what you can get in the south of frigging France you’re not going to be blown away. But if you take a deep breath & remember that you’re INTHEWOODS! you may realize that you’re getting something you can’t get anywhere: service that is genuinely personable from people who seem genuinely to want you to have a lovely experience eating at the restaurant where they work so hard. Our server, Rider, was managing about 10 tables at once and doing a damn fine job of it.

Just there for dinner, with a family group. For a special event for my wife, and Café Silva Bella, did not disappoint! Everyone raved about the food, our Waiter s’ and waitresses, were, are, attentive, friendly, and on the ball. You would never had known, they had a large wedding party before us, everything was set, tables, and room, beautiful! Thanks again Tino, and Carrie, Café Silva Bella is, our favorite restaurant on the Hill

One of the best spots in PMC! I’m help rent an authentic log cabin in Pine Mountian Club and when we want to do something special for our guest we often will treat them to dinner at Café Silva Bella.

Came in at 3pm on Saturday it took almost 1 hour and 10 mins to have our food served. Food was mediocre at best, it made me wish that i had stopped at Subway on my way in from I-5. Server lady was nice yet very slow. Perhaps she recently started here. Price range is about $ 20 per person without alcoholic drinks. One thing for certain: i’m not coming back. Try the foodtruck that occasionally serves village center.

They offer a mix of Latin-American food, Italian pasta dishes, fish and chips, and probably some more stuff. The interior is rather awkward, with a tiled floor, some wooden booths, an eclectic variety of tables and chairs that don’t seem to match. The food could be worse, I guess. However, in close proximity, the food here is the best you can get. They obviously try to be unique and different, yet leave the guests confused. Their special was a lobster ravioli with scallops and a scampi sauce on a bed of spaghetti. Who had the idea to combine three dishes into one? Why not take two ingredients and make the dish simple, yet exceptional? Naturally, I skipped their special and ordered the fish and chips instead. Not sure if the fries are pre-packed or made in house? At least they didn’t look like McDonalds fries. Having said all that, the price is low and the service is exceptionally friendly. In particular the service seems to save the place from becoming another Flintstone Pizza/Burger joint. So, 3 stars for effort.

I wandered into Café Silva Bella one evening and was completely delighted with the friendly welcome I received. I was immediately served warm bread sticks with delicious tomato sauce for dipping. I ordered the tilapia strips for appetizer, WOW! amazingly dielicious and with the creole sauce it was top notch. I hardly had room for dinner and took most of my carnitas home for the next day… It was all so very tasty. I will definitely return. The prices were very reasonable too for what you get. Next time I will save room for dessert!

After a couple of different people recommended the restaurant to me, I finally gave it a shot. It obviously does great business, because every table was filled orreserved, and people were calling in to go orders frequently. They made room for me at the counter. Seated there I was able to observe the cooks, and listen to and watch the employees as they worked as a team to ensure each patron was well looked after. The food was absolutely deliciious! I ordered the cesear salad(omg the onions!) and Chicken Risotto. Too full for dessert. Can’t wait to dine here again.

Unilocal says it’s Latin American but it’s actually Italian. First thing I had to mention was the service. The server/owner was very kind enough to open up a room for my huge group, move tables, and divide the receipt individually for about 20 people. How kind of her! Also the food was great. Had the alfredo risotto — big in amount, had to take the leftover. The alfredo sauce goes well with the chicken and veggies. Would have been better if it had more salt but i could add them myself. Nice restaurant!

What a great addition to PMC! We love coming here for dinner. It is a small, cozy restaurant 2 min from the main road as you drive through Pine Mountain Club. The staff is very friendly, prices are absolutely reasonable and the food is excellent. Chef really knows how to make sauces. Vegetables are always fresh and well selected. In the back room they can accommodate a good size party. By far our favorite restaurant in PMC. We have dinner here every time we visit our mountain home.

Lobster ravioli with scallops. To die for! Then the chef sent out a fee appetizer the fried fish strips or something. What restaurant does that? And can I mention the chef and owner serenaded us in our patio at the pine mountain inn with his guitar. Beautiful singing and guitar playing!!!

Had no reservation but got seated in. 15 mins or so but we were forgotten so that started us on a damper. We ordered a salad with chicken and avocado dressing, a spinach artichoke dip, and Creole tilapia strips. Upon ordering the waitress offered us a free desert to make up for our wait. The tilapia strip are fabulously spiced with a couple if wonderful dipping sauces, the artichoke dip is consistent with flavor and one of the best I’ve had, the salad is on a bed of fresh romaine with nicely seasoned chicken that compliments the light flavorful dressing. All portions are nicely sized for a couple to share.

Very busy place. They seem to cater to the regulars and the people with reservations. It took us about 20 minutes to be seated, not too bad for a small busy place and no reservation. It took about 10 minutes before someone came over to open our bottle of wine and another 10 before our order was taken. Very pleased when the waitress apologized for the wait and offered us a free dessert. Ordered Creole Tilapia Strips, Spinach Artichoke Dip, and Tino’s Chicken Avocado salad. Loved the Tilapia Strips, batter had just the right amount of spice and was just the right crispness. 2 choices of dipping sauce that were both delicious but I think the tarter sauce was my fave. Artichoke dip was very good, very creamy just wish it had more artichoke chunks. Enjoyed the salad very much. Nice balance of avocado, perfectly grilled juicy chicken, red onion, tomato and just the right amount of dressing. Definitely would pick this place again, only next time I would make a reservation.

Finally made it to my 100th review! Unilocal challenge complete! And I am happy that Café Silva Bella has the honor of being my #100. My mother and I dined here for the first time this evening. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming and inviting. My mom ordered her favorite sandwich, a BLT, and pronounced it delicious. It was accompanied by a mountain of French fries, which she devoured, so they must have been good. I ordered the tilapia with risotto with sun-dried tomatoes. It was accompanied by carrots and green beans. I selected a glass of Pinot Grigio which was the perfect pairing for this entrée. The risotto was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The tilapia and vegetables were great. Portion sizes were perfect but left no room for dessert. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Parking is free in the private lot next to the restaurant. Café Silva Bella is a great addition to the Pine Mountain Club community. Definitely plan to go back!
