Fruit that taste the way it should! I just moved to Pioneer and am delighted to have a place to get the best fruit I’ve tasted in over a century!!!

Stopped by this place for the first time on my way home from Safeway in Jackson. Originally wanted to get some strawberries, which are the best I’ve tasted in a long time, but ended up buying other seasonal fruits and veggies he had for sale. I love the fact that I can support a local business/farm run by someone who lives in my community. Lee was super friendly and enjoyed talking about the various fruits and vegetables. There were some unique melons and cucumbers I hadn’t seen before and he took the time to explain them to me. Plus he had some onions, okra, green beans, various types of tomatoes and more. I even picked up some sunflowers for the wife. Overall, probably paid a little more than I would in the grocery store, but there’s some gratification in knowing exactly where the produce is coming from and who’s doing the farming. The best food is made with the best, freshest and in season ingredients, I know that’s what I’m getting when I’m buying from Lee. I encourage all locals and visitors to check out what Lee has to offer next time you’re looking for some fresh produce, and maybe even some flowers to brighten up someone’s day.
