I bought an analog hearing aid from Ear Care in 2005. Over the course of a ten year period, the device broke at least 8 – 9 times, twice by some idiot girl working at the store who was trying to clean it. Cleaning a hearing aid is a simple process if you’re competent and properly trained, of which she was neither. I finally got fed up with driving well over an hour every time the aid malfunctioned, and dealing with some of the bad attitudes I got from the help. It must have been of poor quality from the start, so I just ordered a new Beltone unit from a local provider who has earned my business, is convenient, very reputable and honest, and sells quality products. Goodbye, Ear Care. You’re lucky to get two stars from me. If you are considering a hearing aid in the Hudson Valley, I would look elsewhere.
