Microtel Suites at Music Road

Pro: Great location. It feels silly to drive to wonderworks /​titanic /​hard rock /​opry, as you’re right there. We found the beds comfortable. The room layout was fine.
Cons: The room had been smoked in, heavily, and stank of that + Lysol. Normally I wouldn’t blame the hotel for this except I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the first time; it should have aired out more, if so. The internet connect was worthless. Great signal, but it just buffered and buffered. I saw an actual cockroach near the elevator. The hallway reeked; I’m not even sure of what. The cleaning staff hadn’t checked a drawer, and it contained a medical pan with wadded paper towels, fruit loops, and the last guest’s invoice. Maybe it was in my head but I felt like the whole place was a bit dirty. I didn’t specifically mind the party in the parking lot every night but I think some people would. The plumbing had some issues.

This place is great. I love it. Cheap. Comfortable bed. Clean rooms. Friendly employees specially Jennifer. Why pay more when you can feel like home for an affordable price :)!!!

This place was great! It was clean & staff was so helpful. Tej was so nice at check in & check out. We have a small dog & so we stayed on the 1^st floor with all the other dogs. Yes, some were loud but not all went to obedience training & that isn’t the hotel’s fault. Towels & linen were nice & white with the room smelling nice. The room had everything you would need. I love the small sink & frig! Now this was after we stayed 2 nights in the hotel from hell, the Sidney James in Gatlinburg — stay away! The toilet didn’t even flush in the 1^st room or the 2^nd one they gave us. Can’t wait to book again at Microtel, no need to ever spend more for a cabin!
