Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Pigeon Forge is not my jam. It’s appeal is simply lost on me. And last night, there I found myself. Right in the middle of it, surrounded by holiday chaos, restaurant chains, and commercial overload, I found myself on the verge of hangry. Something had to be done… STAT. My initial Unilocal search turned up that the highly rated, non-​chain restaurants closed pretty early. I decided to hop on the road and just drive until I found something that would suffice. My car led me directly to Five Guys. We all know this place. Burgers you make with whatever flair you desire. Stuck in a rut, I always order a cheeseburger with grilled onion, jalapenos, hot sauce, and tomatoes. It’s never the wrong decision, especially when ordrered cajan fry. Be warned: A regular size fry is enough to feed an entire small village for a year. If you can eat the entire serving on your own, you should quit your job because you have a solid future in competitive eating.
Now what made this visit to Five Guys «review worthy» was the impeccable service! We were greeted as soon as we entered the dining room, which was pristine. The man behind the counter was friendly and quick to take our order. The food was delivered promptly and the manager even made his way to my table as he went around the dining room making sure all of the patrons were having a good experience. In fast food, this is rare. In fast food, during christmas, and in Pigeon Forge this is unheard of. Kudos, fine friends!

This place is wonderful. I’d heard great things about Five Guys for a long time but this was my first experience in one. The line when we went in was long, we took a decent sized group in ourselves, but they blazed through the orders in no time. I was amazed at the quick service. The burger I received, just a regular bacon cheeseburger was huge. Stacked high with bacon, I elected to get lettuce, mayo, ketchup and grilled onions. The flavor was wonderful, one of the top burgers I’ve had in my life no doubt, thanks in large part I believe to the grilled onions. The fry portions were huge. They put fries in the bottom of the bag, fill your small cup with fries, put it and the burger in the bag, then toss more fries in on top. I am definitely a fan and hope to go back soon.

If you’ve never ate at a Five Guys your missing out. Food was great and my kids got the hot dogs and they looked really good.

Second time I’ve ever visited a 5 guys and it had been several years ago for the first time. I ordered a little cheeseburger (¼lb patty) and a reg fry. The food was fine and the fry portion was HUGE but $ 10 for a small burger and fries is a bit much for my taste.

Went here today with my father and daughter. We are huge Five Guys fans and we were not disappointed. This may have been or beat experience yet. The staff was very friendly, the food was perfect and it was the only place we went by that wasn’t crowd yet, so that was certainly a plus.

My life was doom and gloomy until I found this place. My life is full of ponies unicorns and rainbows!!! The burgers and fries were awesome.

After hearing my son and spouse go on and on about these burgers, I thought that I would just try a small one while on vacation. As I looked at the menu, I didn’t see any choices for cheese or toppings. Skerk! pump those brakes, what do you mean, you don’t have real cheese? Only processed American? It was over at this point. I could not believe that they didn’t even have real cheese. Now mind you my home prepared burgers come with your choice of meat, turkey or beef, you get to choose from a variety of natural cheeses and they are fully dressed with lettuce, onions, tomato, avocado and any other vegetable you desire. What is the attraction to these burgers and why did it take five guys to develops such a simple and uninspired concept? I just don’t get it. I make a much better burger for far less money. I can say that my husband has finally figured this out.

Today was my and my boyfriends first time here and it was really good! The little burger is really big! And we ordered the small fry after reading the reviews and yes the small fry is plenty for 2 people. 2 burgers, small fry, large drink costs around $ 18.00

This Five Guys is about twice the size as most and was packed solid when we went. Wow! What fast and wonderful service they had with the volume of people that were there! They did about 50 orders of around 4 persons each in small time we were there.
This Five Guys has a cute Fireplace in the corner along with plenty of outdoor seating. Unfortunately it was wet/​dreary outside so inside was very full.
Although Five Guys is not the most healthy, it is some of the best burgers you can get around!

Our orders were cooked while we waited. As typical of Five Guys, we ended up with enough fries to feed the table next to us, as well as ourselves.
Actually finally saw someone order a Hot Dog. Have seen that on their menu for years, but who goes to Five Guys for a dog?
The food is a bit pricey, but worth the time and trouble to come here. I would drive past a McDonald’s/Burger King/Wendy’s/Hardee’s that was giving away their food for free, to pay to eat here.
One question: How does McAids (and the other chains) stay in business?

Good burgers, good value, worth the trip.

Good fresh Burger. Fries were cold, but tasted pretty good. Overall a little pricey for the quality.
