I always bring my family and friends to Tacos Coco’s. What I like about this place is everyone is friendly and you feel at home, as if it’s my grandmother or mother cooking. I love the food and they have plenty of drinks. I highly recommend it. A+ They have an incredible catering department where you can hire them for your private events. Buon appetite.

This place is truly a hidden gem! My favorite dishes are the birria, campechana and coctel de camaron you will not be disappointed! We were greeted well and the waiter was very helpful

Diamond in the rough for sure. Great food, great prices, cold beer. Found this place on while looking for somewhere to eat near my hotel. It seemed like on only place to eat Mexican that wasn’t served in a styrofoam box. When I arrived shortly after 6pm on a Thursday the place was totally empty, I could hear some rustling in the kitchen and at first I thought it may not be open and went back outside to check the hours. Someone did shorty emerge form the kitchen and I took a seat my the window so I could keep an eye on my truck. I ordered a Victoria and the Asada plate which was brought out promptly and piping hot shortly after my ice cold beer. Almost immediately after my food was served my perfect meal and tranquility were demolished by hot headlights from a Expedition pulling up in front of my window seat and expelling forth an a seriously overweight couple with two obnoxious children. They took a seat at the table next to me despite the multitude of vacant tables and had the waitress turn on a tv and began to watch sponge bob in Spanish at full volume whilst letting their children hammer the table with their fists and shout. How I long the legalization of child sized shock collars. I begrudgingly finished my meal and my beer and waited for my check. The server didn’t come to check on my empty beer for about 10min after I was finished with my meal, at which point I was long ready to go. Despite not being able to get that second beer and my loathsome dining companions, I give this place a five because it has lots of character, friendly advice is by far the best option that I could find for Mexican food.

Finally found a place with good pozole and menudo by Pico Rivera. I use to go all the way to Inglewood to get it. Anyways its a little whole in the wall and they could definitely use some updating but the food is good. Must try if you want some yummy Mexican food.

Tacos Coco’s catered a party I went to recently. The food was well prepared, fresh, tasted great, and was of a very good variety. Service was excellent, on time, and organized. I will be using them for my own events.

Tacos Coco’s catered my baby shower with 100 or so guest this past weekend!!! Angel, showed up early, he was very cordial and a great cook. Everything on the menu taste AWESOME. We had chicken, beef and pork tacos, quesadillas, beans, rice, salsa and chips. Another plus is that they are super duper reasonably priced! The owner Fannie was very helpful, especially since we only gave them a last minute 1 week notice! I highly recommend Tacos Coco’s for your next event!!!

I loved tacos cocos thank you so much you guys made my party a fiesta!!! despite what another critic said they arrive on time to my party actually they arrived 20 mins before to set up… my husband ate 8 alpastore tacos he loved he even told me to tell to the amazing cook Fannie to put it away because he was going to be eating tacos all week. by the way she was the best great service, polite and even funny out going not shy I enjoyed that. the pricing was beyond reasonable taking in mind i don’t move thing she packs everything for you, the price was $ 350 for 50 guest everything included rice, beans, guacamole, chips and veggies with three types of meats. the gratatuity isn’t included so we just tipped an extra $ 100 well worth it. i would most likely hire and recommend them. thanks again tacos cocos crew members

They catered a family birthday party for us recently. They showed up on time; the food was delicious; the server was courteous and prompt. I have no complaints. They served for over 3 hours. We had a party for 50, and it cost us a little over $ 300(before tip) and that included rice, beans, and three kinds of meat plus chiles, onions and cilantro. I would recommend them!

I’ve had Tacos Cocos cater various events for me. I’ve been an event planner in the past, and have always been involved with events. Tacos cocos was inexpensive for 300 – 500 dollars we’ve fed anywhere from 75 to 165 people. I liked them, the make tacos, hand them out, the end. You need to be clear what time you plan on serving the tacos because there is a cooking time and set up time. They are good for a backyard party, for small events, really casual stuff. I wouldn’t hire them to cater anything wedding related, just like you wouldn’t do a taco truck for anything formal. By the way their number is 3233579583 They’re nice, courteous and honest.

We hired Tacos Coco’s to provide a taco cart for our guests after our wedding reception at a hotel. The agreement was that they would arrive between 11 – 11:30pm to set up the cart in the back alley, and begin serving guests at midnight. When they had not arrived by 11:30pm, my coordinator called their contact number with no answer. Their server didn’t end up arriving until past midnight, and a line of our guests had already formed. 2 of our male guests even had to help him set up. Because he had to warm up the tortillas still, he didn’t end up serving our guests until around 12:30am. I didn’t know this until after the fact, and my coordinator had already paid him in cash, including a pre-determined tip we had included. After the wedding, when I found out how late he was, I called Tacos Coco’s to complain and ask for our tip back. Instead of apologizing, I was told that being half an hour late wasn’t a big deal and they were late all the time and still go good tips. I tried to explain that our event wasn’t a normal afternoon backyard party that lasted hours; our guests were tired, had had some drinks, and were probably really hungry — the whole point of a taco cart was to feed our hungry guests! They didn’t seem to get it, or care. I was upset because some of our guests actually left the line and went home because it was taking so long to be served. The food ended up being great, but if you’re going to book them, be aware that they’re not very professional and will likely be late to your event. I DONOT recommend them for your post-wedding reception!

Excellent taco catering service! Excellent value! They arrived on time, set up their grill and created the best tacos… carnitas, carne asada, al pastor. I didn’t need to do a thing. Marta served almost 50 guests… she was wonderful! I would higly recommend Tacos Cocos to friends and family.
