Amazing place!!! Visit Saturday night and I just had to Unilocal my experience. Manager was extremely friendly and staff was amazing. Haven’t been to a shakey’s since I was a kid with my parents. Bringing my children brought back memories will be coming back soon! Pizza was fresh and mojos crispy and delicious yum! I recommend it if you want to chill relax have a drink with your wife while your kids enjoy themselves as well.

Apparently management of this place forgot about the most important thing in a pizza parlor. CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Think about this, you can get a Mediocre pizza anywhere. Mojos and chicken are greasy and nasty, the place is outdated. They only thing that could save this place is CUSTOMER SERVICE!
We bought some pizza and mojos to support the local high school track team and our order was delayed for more than 40 minutes. When I asked the attendant for my order, they just keep telling me 10 minutes THREE TIMES! I understand this place was doing some sort of service, but if they can’t handle a big crowd they shouldn’t offer such service. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We’ve been coming periodically over the years and it’s always the same issue at this place. There’s never enough pizza ready for the buffet. If you’re one of the first customers that day, expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes before pizza starts to come out… a single pizza at a time. One would think that by now they’d be experts at anticipating a lunch crowd… but no. Lately we’ve opted to visit other shakeys in surrounding cities even though this one is the closest. It’s a damn shame that they can’t get their act together enough to keep more customers.

My friends and family have been coming here since i was a little boy. We have had many sports fundraisers here and many victory dinners after games. The food is always good and the kids and fun in the arcade. Great to have a small and quick birthday party as well.

Bomb! We send to bunch of lunch. Deep dish pepperoni is my favorite. This time they had a smores pizza with Oreo cookies. It was amazing.

I just came here for a party, first off we had to wait 20 minutes to set up our own party. All we were given was a few minutes more. We also had very slow service and were gouged left and right by extra drinks. Why is it they have pitchers of beer but not soda. For groups parties their should be a certain amount of soda given. The food was sporadic so it was hard to feed everyone very poor communication with us as the host and the workers. I will not be returning.

Friday, July 17th, 2015 during our lunch visit here two bald males were running show, one in a dark blue long sleeve and the other in a pinkish long sleeve. I have to say these guys provided great customer service. They were very attentive and welcoming. Walking around greeting people, making sure buffet was clean, checking that buffet food was full. We were 5 adults and a few kiddos & at one point one of the guys in the long sleeve took our plates and brought new ones… Our visit was great! ON ANOTHER NOTE: PARENTS PLEASE WATCH YOUR KIDS. NO EXCUSES… I WAS WALKING OUT WITH A LITTLE BOY FOLLOWING RIGHT BEHIND ME… NO ONE WAS BEHIND HIM. I DID MAKE SURE THE CASHIER KNEW HE WAS WANDERING OUT. BUT IT’S NOT HER RESPONSIBILITY!!!

An excellent Shakeys. Way better than the Downey and Norwalk ones. It’s clean, the staff are professional, and they offer a great Italian food buffet during lunch. I was about to give up on Shakeys until my friend took me to this one. 5 out of 5 stars.

The nostalgic factor definitely plays into my random cravings for Shakey’s. I know it’s not the best pizza and chicken around, but when the coworkers talked about the AYCE lunch for $ 9, I was soo down to get some mojos and pizza. It was the very first time for bunch-​o-​lunch, and oh man, it was so worth it for what it is. The delicious pizzas with crispy crusts, the mojos fried to perfection, the mashed potatoes! ‘Murica! Even the chicken was moist! I was honestly shocked how good everything was (minus the mac&cheese). I mean, I can’t go back on the regular but I know if I ever want to binge like a fat girl again, this is the place for me. And only for $ 9!!!
This particular location can accommodate a large number of people and there are windows for sunlight unlike the Monterey Park location which feels like you’re trapped in a dungeon. The only thing I hate is that they’ve got a bad selection of iced-​teas. Can we get some sugarless iced tea up in here?

The name should be changed to stalely’s cause the mojos from the buffet tasted like they were left overs from the other day and reheated. Lost my faith in this chain. (That’s right I can always goto baby bros for there better fresh potatoes. :P). The pizza was also kinda dry and not as good as I remember it. On the plus side staff was very helpful and friendly. I was even given a fresh plate at my table by staff. Wish the quality of food was as good as the service. Also I’m not one for over eating anymore (well depends on what I’m eating that is. :P). So I’m just not gonna come here anymore. My suggestion to anyone in the area on lunch break go some where else like tommys or in n out. If ur up for pizza just goto two sals. Peace out

I love my local Shakeys Parlor. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because this location constantly runs out of chicken tenders. Aside from that, from the staff, management and the food, everything is always spot on.

I haven’t been here since HS so when I went for a friend great-granddaughter’s bday I was in love again. Can’t believe it took me this long! I love their chicken and mojo potatoes!!! The place was pretty loud with lots of kids running around but who cares it’s all about the mojo potatoes! It can get pretty hectic so just order to go.

Stopped by last minute for a late dinner and i must say I was very satisfied! I placed my order right away, it didn’t take no more than 15 min to receive my order. Over all every experience is a good one. Ashely took my order this time and was very helpful polite and helped me get free mojos for taking a survey I didn’t even know about! How awesome! Thanks! Just came here to celebrate my sons perfect attendance. The food was great the customer service was sorry. Lucky we got waiter Tim half way into out visit and he saved the day. Quick, responsive, n well spoken. Very apologetic for the pizza topping mix up which wasn’t his mistake but the cashiers fault. Anyway food was great n Tim was amazing. Thanks Tim :)

Was there just now. Our school pass out coupon for back to school night and you can get an individual 1 topping for free. One of the cashier made a comment that my child do not qualify because she doesn’t attend school. I ask her why you ASSUME? She was shock that I spoke up. HEY I SPEAK ENGLISH. Either she was races or prejudice. I feel sad that she wasn’t able to attend school at a early age, ASSUME and Just because my child looks small, and Asian don’t be prejudice.

Met my son & grandkids for dinner, cashier and servers were very nice, tended our table, inquiring if all was ok, as he cleared our table my grandson said thank you. He asked if they were going to play games, we said yes. He gave them tokens to play because they had manners.
That was very nice. Definitely going back.

I hadn“t been to Shakey’s in Pico Rivera in years. I was pleasantly surprised. Placing the order was quick, it was not overly crowded and the restaurant was clean. The servers were very friendly and helpful.
Our fav thing to order are the fried chicken, pizza and mojos. All delish… also ordered a mango smoothie, yum. Needless to say we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later :)
