Carniceria Los Primos

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years. Half of the place is a restaurant and the other half a carniceria. I’ve tried both. Their carne asada is pretty dam good, you won’t be disappointed. If your hungry for some tacos, they make the best fish tacos in town. Their asada tacos are also good. The staff is very friendly. Oh, I forgot to mention that they also sell beer, just got their alcohol license not to long ago. You should try this place out. For some reason they have a «B“rating, all that means is B=Best food in town :)

Stopped in to checkout the new dinning area. This place gets better and better. Bright colors, clean, and comfortable seating. Not just a place for takeout. You now have the choice to dine in. Love their carnitas and chile verde. I ordered a chile verde, egg, and cheese burrito for breakfast and it was great. I’ll be back to try their menudo sunday.

I have yet to try their carne asada that everyone raves about and any of their tacos or food they offer here but i did receive great service while looking for a meat market that sold cachete de res (beef cheek) for a barbacoa for my son’s birthday. I had been calling and shopping around at local carnicerias and most had the same price 3.99 the pd. But here i was able to find it at 2.99 the pd. !! I was super excited to find a great deal :) when i called i spoke to andres. He was very patient and answered all the questions i had regarding ordering the meat and the quality. I ordered late afternoon on a thursday and they had it ready to go for me on friday afternoon. It was not frozen but fresh and was great quality a little less fat than beef cheek normally has which was awesome ! They even did me the favor of dividing up the meat in 4 seperate bags so as it wasnt too heavy for me to carry even though they carried it to the car for me but at least when i got home i had no problem getting it down. I would definately recommend this carniceria to friends and family and look foward to trying their carne asada in the future.

Always a good idea. Love the many options. And everyone who works here always friendly. Love coming to have a nice and delicious meal.

This place is still new and the owners are nice. You won’t hear me say «damn they’re way overpriced!» If you stop by get the carneasada burrito and while you’re there you can get yourself cheetos. Cuz they’re also a market, they don’t only sell meat. Family owned business is always a treat. Some times they’ll have a car wash or two, to help raise some money when you’re down and you’re blue.

I really enjoyed my 3 Taco combo. I took a pic of the plate but didn’t save it fast enough in favor of wanting to a taste to add to the pic. Getting the taste was worth losing the picture. I enjoyed their seasoning and the freshness was apparent. Staff here is very polite and attentive. I enjoyed my visit to Carniceria los Primos and look forward to returning again soon. Next time I’m thinking about trying the chile verde plate. Or perhaps a nacho, what time extremely fond of. I want to be sure to note that this 4Star for many would be a 5 but if I were just a throw 5 Stars around all the time what the hell would I give a Thomas Keller restaurant.

I never ever write reviews yet this places deserves a minute of my time. I come here specifically for the ranchera for bbqs. The best meat in the area I must say. The best I have tried actually. The tenderness of the meat is to die for! It literally melts in your mouth soft. It accidentally rips when you try to flip it in on the grill. The price varies but no complaints totally worth every penny. The customer service is the best.

Great food and great people. I have never had any problems with this place. People are always friendly and the customer service is great. The fish tacos are the best. I really recommend the place.

I’m very picky about customer service because I’ve worked in customer service! They treat you like FAMILY here! I love it! They are extremely friendly & everything is delicious! Tostilocos, meat, aguachiles, tacos, aguas frescas & I mean EVERYTHING, the list goes on! They have the best flavored meat in town! Recommend this small business 1 000 000%!!!

I have gone to San Diego for great fish tacos but none can come close to this place! Fish tacos are soooo delicious, hot, and fresh! A must go place and price is not bad at all!

I have to say customer service is really good here. Ceviche, burritos, guacamole is very good. Chile Verde is also good — but a little too spicy for me.
One recommendation, tamales should be ready early in morning on weekends. They tend to be dry so I hope they improve to make them more moist.

By far the tenderest and best flavored meat… I drive an hour and a half to get my carne asada here and. Chicken.

I used to love going to this place, buying meat, and because of their customer service from the manager. But today I had the worst service, and I will NEVER put my money into this place again. The managers wife with glasses was very rude! She was speaking about a customer and called them crazy. Turned out she was speaking about me. She has a very bad attitude and she needs to learn how to treat customers. It’s basic customer service to not speak about customers in front of customers. She is horrible. Not dealing with that lady again! They also lost my family’s business as well and anyone else I know will definitely hear of this experience. I would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

Just had some al pastor tacos earlier, best tacos I’ve had in a while! Full of flavor service is friendly, had no problems whatsoever.

Went there to buy water left my phone on counter not even too min go buy went back all of a sudden my phone disappears in to thin air only 3 workers and me in store the whole time suck lost my business workers are shady fucken assholes becareful when u go there

I went to this place after reading the reviews. It’s not bad but it’s not the greatest either.
I’ve been looking for a good local meat place, given I’m fairly new to the city and yet have had no luck. The ranchera was good, I might feel comfortable going back again to cook it on the grill since I made tacos with it and when you BBQ it taste different. I bought chorizo and that was not what I was looking for. Extremely greasy for my taste and the flavor was not at it’s best, for this reason I can’t rate it at a 5 star level. Sorry

Best carniceria in town! The Asada and Chicken were amazing! The owner was very nice and helpful and the place was also very clean. I will definitely be back to try their hot prepared food and other meat selections. Highly recommended.

Just moved into the area and needed a carniceria read about this one didn’t want to drive to East LA must say when I walked in it looked lonely as in not many items. Got my meat and must say everyone was happy it was delicious. The service was great.

Really nice service. Carne asada seasoning tastes like a really good steak. Its not quite spicy enough but compliments the meat well. Chicken breast seasoning is similar. Dry rub, lots of garlic and onion and salt. No weird OJ marination here. Its straightforward and delicious. Carne is tenderized so it looks kinda brown from oxidation. Fear not, its still fresh and super tasty. I rank this up there with El Toros carne asada in santa ana.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Best CARNE ASADA around! A little pricey but you get what you pay for and no super market meat will ever be as good. The Huejucar & meat market off Beverly don’t compare. We have a new Carniceria in town and look forward to all our BBQ’s and party’s this summer!!!
