This place is okay… kind of a nice dive bar. Bartender Jason was excellent. Very attentive. Young crowd doing karaōke on Wednesday night. Had the Cuban sandwich and tater tots. Cuban is made with pulled pork and served on white toast. Weird but not terrible if your hungry. Not sure what the poor reviews are about… maybe I just got lucky with Jason being the bartender so I didn’t experience any of the services implants from other reviews. It was a slow night though. Maybe the complainers were here on a busier night?

OK wow where do you start here? Went to Rude Dogs to meet a few friends for beer and watch a football game. Ordered a burger and fries. Horrible. Burger burnt and dry. Fries almost soggy. Bartenders drinking and taking shots with friends at bar. Service slow and not polite. Have seen this bar here for a few years and had always wanted to try it out. Mistake. Not sure if I just went on a bad night but reviewing other Unilocalers here looks like a lot of folks have had the same issues. Will not be back…

I not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Really nice place really clean and the manager/owner is really fast and is really efficient. I will be here for3 more weeks before I head back to Texas but I definitely will be heading back here.

SHOULDHAVEREADTHEREVIEWSFIRST, Because the one star reviews are spot on. TERRIBLE. Terrible service. Puke all over restroom walls. Hand full of locals there for their regular good ol time. Not worth spending your money or evening at a place that doesn’t care about their patrons. There was a toddler at the bar and adult was doing shots while the kid was running around. One couple made an inquisition to the manager; he said they have a kids menu. Place should have their license revoked. Avoid!

Horrible is being nice!!! Not only did they admit to serving me a drink that they put water in but when asking for goose on the rocks, it should be goose and not belvedere. Nor should I get an attitude by the female bartender when I asked if they do a cinnamon and sugar rim for their pumpkin beers. So here is how the night started. We sit at the bar and I first asked for a chocolate martini. It wasn’t bad but as a bartender, I definitely could have made it better but I’ve had much worse. My boyfriend orders goose on the rocks and we knew it wasn’t goose. Then one of the bartenders said he likes belvedere like my boyfriend which confirmed they didn’t give us what we wanted. I decided to switch to beer and asked if they had any pumpkin beers. They told me they had a couple. I don’t care for the pumking kind that much though a cinnamon & sugar rim does help it a lot. So when I asked if they did that I got an attitude from Nicole and was told no. Ok not a problem but don’t try to serve me another pumpkin type beer that taste like water. I opted to do a SAMs Oktoberfest instead. My boyfriend and I decided to order food. He got a burger and I just got the shrimp and fries. I was fine with mine but his was horrible. I again ordered a drink since I wasn’t feeling like drinking beer. We saw they had cosmos for $ 5 so I figured on trying it. But did make the bartender aware I don’t want it bitter/tart. Once I got the Cosmo, I knew it wasn’t right. The bartender admitted he added water to it. Excuse me!!! Why in the world would you do that!!! There are other ways to make it taste non bitter/tart. But adding water is one of the dumbest things to do, let alone admit to it. I couldn’t even drink the drink because it was awful. So I decided to ask for a Bacardi Limon drink. But unfortunately they don’t carry that. So I asked for a melon ball and they gave it to me as a shot. Wtf!!! Why would you do that? Needless to say I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Got my bill and saw they charged more than $ 5 for the Cosmo but whatever. Not only were my drinks not to our liking and being over charged, but the service was so slow. I actually waited 20 mins to get someone’s attention so I can order another drink. Just glad to be out of there. Can’t say I would go back unless I want only beer and fried food.

Went to Rude Dog tonight for dinner for the first time. The food is very greasy, including the nachos(which are served in dog bowls). How punny. I ordered the Rude Fish Wrap, which was good, but I ended up almost throwing it up later in the evening. It was spicy with the fiesta ranch. I had high hopes for this location, but if I go again it will be for a couple of beers after a long, hard work day. 2⁄5 stars

Eh. We went their last night for happy hour. The wife and I split wings and tots and tried lots of drinks. We sat outside and service was slow. The drinks were nothing to write home about. I don’t think we’d go back.

Ridiculous how bad this place was. Not only do the bartenders blatantly ask you to buy them shots, they also can’t seem to fill a single drink order or know how to build basic drinks. I asked the same bartender for the same drink three separate times, and each time she forgot and would come back 20 minutes later and ask if we enjoyed our drinks which we hadn’t received. If the bar was packed that’d be understandable however there were only 15 people in the bar besides myself and my buddies. Additionally, their barback staff should be behind the bar restocking, tapping, and checking glassware. Not outside trying to pick up women. If a bartender says she can’t serve a specific beer because the keg isn’t tapped it then raises the question«Why isn’t the keg tapped?» Maybe it’s because the barback is too busy chasing booty. I know that most bartenders drink on the job which is fine, but your staff shouldn’t be slurring their words and be visibly intoxicated. I saw one of the staff break a glass in the ice bin and literally continue to serve the same ice that she just broke glass in! For those people that like glass chunks in their rum and coke, this place is perfect! The place itself was clean besides for the bar itself and the restrooms. The only redeeming quality is that bars like Rude Dog don’t last. By years end they’ll be closed and hopefully the next concept will have staff that knows how to make at least a long island.

Slow service, bartenders more concerned with flirting and drinking themselves. Not only do they not know the basics of bar courtesy they also don’t know elementary drinks. I had to ask the bartender for the same drink 3 separate times before I received anything.

A great bar-food type of place. Very sporty-dumpy type of feel, which makes it lots of fun to dine and have a drink or two after work.

First time visit… Good food, good drinks and great service. We had a little incident involving a small piece of metal in our pizza caused by a broken piece of equipment in the kitchen. The staff quickly took care of the situation and comped the pizza and 20% off the bill.

Bad. I’m not sure how you can screw up an Italian sub, but wow. Supposed to have provolone, but it was yellow, maybe American? But I could not tell. Banana. Peppers? Not on mine. Flavor? None. Friend got the club, what a joke. Ordered boneless wings, got bone in — after I saw them sit at the service area for 10 minutes. Ordered hot, might pass for mild. I want this place to be good, but right now it’s not. Just took a bite of my sons burger, for the love of God, so dry and burnt. Will most likely never return.

Fresh cut fries, hand breaded chicken tenders and awesome wings with homemade sauce. Much better than those other casual chain restaurants! You won’t be disappointed!

I was unsure about ordering a salad since it’s a sports bar but OMG! I just finished the entire spinach salad with blackened salmon and it was absolutely delicious. Great food and amazing customer service!

I checked this place out shortly after they opened with a few friends, it was just kind of meh. Nothing really stood out to me, good nor bad, it just just another bar. In Pickerington you might have to try a bit harder… they’re a finicky bunch. I haven’t been compelled to go back.

This place is super cheap and the food is very tasty(big portions). And the drinks? Cheap! And they have Angry Orchard on draft, which is a plus for me. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Good place for a work happy hour, too. It’s never really busy, which is good for service but you get that sinking feeling of, «Oh man, I hope they don’t go out of business.»

Nice late night eating out East and Karaōke!!! Needed a food fix late at night so gave Rude Dog a try out in Pickerington. There are 3 locations in town though if you do not live out east. The place was pretty empty save for some lively karaōke patrons(a lovely surprise!). Sat at the bar and took in the menu. Pretty standard types of food so I gave the loaded fries and 1lb of wings a shot. The food did not take too long to come out and was super hot when it did. The fries were hand cut not the same old fries that some other places use. I thoroughly enjoyed them and the portion was huge, for a group of people in my opinion. The wings I ordered in sweet bbq flavor since none of the other flavors really intrigued me(and there were not that many flavors either). They were good, but nothing special. Size of them was also average. All in all a nice late night food option.

Here’s what I have to say about rude dog overall. If you visit the three restaurants separately, you’re not quite sure that it’s the same establishment. First suggestion would be that they take over the Unilocal accounts so that they can give the company the same name across the board. They have different ambience and different menus so it’s hard to tell that you’re at the same place but I definitely find the service to be decent at all three locations. The Grandview location is the best. The Pickerington location is very reminiscent of an Average Joe’s; high top bar tables, and loud music. They could really benefit from more booths and ditch the live music on Friday nights. Other than that, good wings.
