Do not join this gym! I had the same experience as the previous reviewer, they will not allow you to cancel your membership. Furthermore, they are not helpful about the process. I did not find the facilities to be good either, frequently the equipment does not work properly, and the staff is absent or not helpful. Avoid!

After moving on from Power Shack, I have to say «good luck canceling your membership.» I stopped into the branch to ask them to cancel for me, as I have joined another gym and haven’t been to PS in almost 3 months. Mind you, I didn’t ask for my money back for the previous two months, just that I not be charged for future usage.
I was told I had to write a letter to cancel and mail it (snail mail) to their headquarters. This is 2013, you shouldn’t have to snail mail ANYTHING anymore! Even worse, they say it will take 30 days to cancel my membership, so I will be charged again this month, and possibly even next month!
I’ve sent my letter, but in addition, I’ve called my credit card company to alert them to not pay anything to PS from this point on. Completely unacceptable.
The only reason I continue to give the, 3 stars is the quality of the facility itself.
