I love cupcakes don’t get enough wrong, but the batter on various flavors that I have tried are really dry and bland. I love love love their icing… but I prefer to enjoy the entire cupcake not just the icing.

I got the Midnight Magic. My daughter got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Both were moist and delicious. Although I love chocolate, there was 3x the icing needed. I never thought I would ever ever say that!

This site says they are open until 9:30. We stopped by at 8:20 last night to lights off. The door says they close at 8pm. We were hesitant based on the reviews here but we’re close and craving cake. If we ever find them open we might try the cupcakes, but lack of consistent advertising of hours seems on part with other negative reviews.

First time there. Purchased two cupcakes and both were dry, dry, dry. Icing way to sweet.

I have gone here for a quick sweet tooth fix 2 times. The red velvet cupcake on 1st visit was very yummy as was today’s chocolate torte. If you are not crazy about icing just take some off. The cupcakes come in an adorable little gift box with a holder to keep it from moving. Too cute!

Let me preface this by saying I did not eat one. After looking at them I decided that the over abundance of icing made them look incredibly unappetizing. There was more icing than cake. There has to be a balance or I may as well just eat a spoonful of sugar.

So far I’ve only tried one cupcake and it was way better than anything I’ve had at Pink Moon in Powell. The icing was great, the cake was good, presentation was off the hook! Best of all the pricing was amazing, $ 2/cupcake. I’ve paid $ 5/cupcake at places like Pink Moon and then thrown them away after one bite because they were so bad. I will have to come back or buy a dozen or so to try and update my review. They also sell mini-cupcake 4 packs, you can’t pick out the flavors, but they seem to be a good way to try a few for only a couple bucks.

This stop was for the niece. I got a Champaign Bouquet cupcake. This one had WAYTOOMUCH icing on top :(Overly sugary. The cake part itself was moist. Tasted ok, but no distinct flavor profile. I scraped off 2⁄3 of the icing just so I could get some cake in the bite. Should add: It took a while for the girl to come to the counter and serve us. Won’t be stopping here again :(

too pricey for a small cupcake… it’s like ur paying for the sugar on their icing… but the icing taste a lot better than the cupcake itself… I went there yesterday and the service is not that good… She’s so pushy about how many cupcake u want…

I took my daughters and a couple of their friends to get cupcakes. They were literally inedible. First they tried the icing which was terrible so they scraped most of it off then they tried the cake part which ended up in the trash with hardly any of it eaten. They were a big waste of money and the people behind the counter seemed to get upset that they were talking too long. I will never go there again.

Too much icing, need more cake! For this location to be new they never have the mini cupcakes. When I asked they lady behind the counter was not pleasant. Overall I like the cupcakes but not that location

I’ve had better. Georgetown Cupcake is my standard. And really, if truth be told, should be EVERYONE’S standard. There’s a reason why those 2 girls have a show and have expanded from the east coast to NY to LA. Their cupcakes are the bomb dot com. With that being said, Gigi needs to learn a lesson or two(or three) from Georgetown Cupcake. Yes, Gigi’s cupcakes are cute. Have cute names. But that’s about it. So before I even ordered, I noticed that the Vanilla/Vanilla cupcakes had these little white sprinkles on them. My 7 yr old autistic son has *issues* with sprinkles on cakes, ice cream, etc. So naturally I asked if they could make me a cupcake without sprinkles. The girl at the counter quickly refused and said«No, all we have is what is in the display box.» Ok. Should’ve been a red flag for us. They have tables so so you can eat in the store, but they don’t clean them in a timely manner as we had to clean our own. We ordered 2 red velvet, 2 vanilla/vanilla, 1 cinnamon, 1 lemon. All packed in a box. I managed to scrape off the sprinkles of the vanilla/vanilla cupcake so my son could enjoy the cupcake. But really, the problem is there were sprinkles on almost 90 percent of their product. I’m disappointed that they couldn’t and/or didn’t want to accommodate such a simple request for a customer. And vanilla is a basic flavor, no? So, if that’s not enough, the Red Velvet is not exactly RED, it’s more like a dry chocolate cake. Barely red. And they put a cream filling inside of it. Weird. And the frosting is supposed to be cream cheese traditionally, right? wrong. Major wrong, they put some typical sugary buttercream on top. If I had been blindfolded I would have never guessed that that was supposed to be a red velvet cupcake. It’s all in the taste, people! Whatever. I don’t recommend this place. What I do recommend(if the owner is reading this) is that they re-evaluate their customer service and their red velvet recipe. Those 2 things need a major overhaul. That’s all. Not worth my time. OH! and before I forget — they accidentally doubled charged the woman in line ahead of us! Not sure how that happened, but it was a issue and took time correcting the mistake which caused a backup. ugh.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The young woman working behind the counter answered my questions patiently and even made a suggestion about a special cake she thought I’d like. So, that’s good. The«meh» is, surprisingly, the icing. The reviews weren’t kidding when they mentioned the freakishly high frosting mound. Now, I love me some icing, but this was WAAAAAAY more than even I could handle. One-note sweetness. I could’ve enjoyed the cupcakes with 1⁄6 the frosting pile. The cakes themselves are flavorful and moist, even a day and a half after buying them. If they can adjust their ratios, we can bump up the stars!

Gigis cupcakes are good. They need a better icing to cupcake ratio(too much icing, cupcake too small) and we could boost the review by another star, and if the price dropped some we might even get to the five mark… maybe its to help pay for the fancy boxes? The cupcakes overall are good though, and generally the service is as well.

While I have to agree that $ 3.50 for a cupcake seems pretty overpriced, I did stop in to check this newest shop in Pickerington. I am not a fan of the ones with a foot high mound of icing so chose from the ones that were more normal — Lemon Daisy and Chocolate Turtle! And I have to say these were both outstanding! The cupcakes are very dense — almost like a heavy pound cake. But the flavors of both were amazing!!! I may not go here a lot but definitely will be a special treat stop for these and any others like them!
