European Wax Center

I went because it was new and living in the area I received a flyer for a free wax so I decided to try it out. The receptionist was VERY pushy as soon as I walked in the door. She instantly gave me information of some program where I could pay for a full year of eyebrow waxing and had it all broken down for me. The actual waxer was really friendly and didn’t mind I had my two little kids with me (stay at home mom problems). The eyebrow wax lasted approximately 5 minutes. She explained everything and even answered my sons questions lol. When I was done the receptionist was checking me out and I was waiting to give her my coupon and she didn’t ask for it and it was awkward. She just handed me a receipt with zero balance. It would have been nice if she would have stated something about it being my first time so it was free, instead of just looking at me like I was supposed to do something. Then she told me I needed to schedule another appointment and I said can I call back and do it and she told me that they have some sort of point system and I would get blah blah points if I scheduled right then. That was the full explanation of the point system and I still have no clue what it is. I was happy with the results until I went home and looked in the mirror. I saw some hairs that were missed so I decided to look in a magnified mirror and not only had she missed a ton of hairs but she didn’t even get the ones in the middle. I had to sit and pluck the hairs that she missed. I was so mad, but also happy I didn’t have to pay for it even though it was a waste of my time. I will stick with going to my normal waxer, who gets out a light up magnified mirror and makes sure she gets every little hair. It was also cold and weirdly bright and not comfortable in the room. I don’t know how someone could get an intimate wax in that kind if room without feeling uncomfortable. The wax was also not hot or even warm, no wonder nothing came off. Definitely won’t be returning.

I went here for a few time to get Brazilian waxes. I always felt very awkward that the waxer stayed in the room while I was changing. The room is bright and not relaxing at all. The wax took maybe ten minutes. The wax was decent. They push their products and other services on you. All in all it was just uncomfortable and I won’t be back.

Had my eyebrows waxed by Hope and she did a great job! Very sweet girl too :) Brittany at the front desk was very helpful and sweet as well!
