This grocery store carries a little bit of everything. They have a bakery, fresh seafood market, frozen goods, fresh fruit and vegetables section, a deli with freshly cooked items such as fried catfish, BBQ ribs etc… The fresh seafood market has live or boiled crawfish, crabs, catfish, oysters, frog legs, tuna, shrimp… the selection actually looked pretty good. This seems like a family owned establishment. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, they will load your groceries in your vehicle if you choose so. Just be sure to tip them. They also sell bags of ice along with dry ice or what I always called«hot» ice!

I used to work here and they treat their employees as badly as they can. The top pay for a cashier was only 8.00 when I worked there. A woman who worked their for 25 years was only making 8.00. When the food went bad they would mark it down and sell it anyway. The only fresh thing there is the beer, which they make you sell to people even if they are drunk. The management team would often yell at the employees in front of customers. This was the worst job I have ever had.

I could spend hundreds of dollars here. Oh, wait a minute, I do! They have the best meat in town and when they have a meat sale, OMG, it’s superior. How about Filet at less than $ 8. per pound! We scarf up the whole T-bones when they’re on sale at less than $ 6.00 per lb and have the butcher slice them into 2″ thick steaks. Talk about wonderful on the grill. Their produce is also the best in town, so fresh and a great selection, too. It’s the only place I shop!
