So, this place will be a Fro Yo in 6 months if the owner continues on the trajectory I witnessed tonight. I received a calzone flatter than most runway models in Paris. There was literally nothing inside this calzone. When we complained, the manager or owner came to our table and said we had to still pay for the flattened calzone. He accused us of eating most the inside which is not true. Plus it was doughy, which I didn’t even complain about. Bad customer service, bad food, stay away!

Amazingly tasty food and cappuccino! As good as anywhere in Italy. The chef specializes in truffle based dishes(which weren’t on the menu), and he made a fantastically balanced ravioli with shrimp and truffle sauce for me. The cappuccino was so fluffy and flavorful; definitely masterfully made. The rest of my party had pizza, which is Naples style thin and crunchy, panini, which was huge and I’m told delicious, a chicken parm sandwich, which I was also told was delicious. The kids had the spaghetti and meatballs, also huge, and ravioli, very tasty, but the only thing kind of small. The cannoli was delicious too! Overall winner restaurant. I recommend ordering directly with the chef(and not from the Americanized menu).

Review is only for take out. I stopped at 430 and asked for slices. They were out… Already? Not making any for a Friday night dinner rush? Okay. Only two pie sizes, personal and large. The staff doesn’t even acknowledge me, while they sit around at a table doing, uh well not much. A boy walked out with a pie and said, thanks. No one acknowledged him. You can get better service and options elsewhere. ETA — the super rude staff thought they could call me out on my review after I paid an ungodly $ 20 for pizza. With oil ans basil after I asked for just cheese. Gotta love it.

For lunch, I had their home-made chicken soup where the pasta seemed cooked to order. The broth had fresh herbs, chicken, carrots, celery, and was rich yellow and flavorful. The La Madrina panini was made with fresh chicken, arugula, veggies, and home-made bread made fresh daily. And that was just lunch! I can’t wait to go back for dinner! I also will try their catering menu. Excellent fresh food! Patrice

We stumbled on this great little Italian place on the way to my son’s hockey game. It’s legit. My husband and I had paninis and they were perfectly grilled with well balanced flavor. My son had the kid’s spaghetti and meatballs and it was enough food for 4 kids with 4 great big meatballs. The service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A great find in Phoenixville near the Ice Rink.

OUTSTANDING!!! This place earns a A++ I was quite surprised to find such a fine eatery in a strip mall. First time i stopped in I figured it was a pizza sandwich shop; I was wrong. They do sell pizza but not regular pizza this is the real deal. I keep waiting for a so so meal but every time I have been there the food has been out of this world. Not just the appetizers or the main dishes I mean everything: the atmosphere, the staff, the olive oil!!!, the bread, desserts and I usually never order dessert i recommend the dessert pizza. I have not one complaint.

Great experience. Told the chef I put it in his hand to order for me. Brought the pork chop stuffed with crab and shrimp. EXCELLENT as way my wife’s. I would go there just for the bread… awesome. I see reviews on here, deserved, I am sure, but from what I can tell, many were from early on when the restaurant was«working things out.» I have eaten there a few times since and the food is consistent. I can only suggest that if you love TRUEAUTHENTIC Italian food, check it out. For anyone who has not had a great experience, I would ask, did you let them know of your issue or thoughts? If you give it a try again, now that the growing pains have passed, you will not be disappointed.

Neither the ambiance, nor the service, nor the cuisine is commensurate with the prices on the menu.

We had reservations for 4 at 6 pm on Saturday and were seated immediately by a very friendly and welcoming staff at this newer BYOB in Oaks. It’s behind the Wawa just off the Oaks exit and can be hard to spot with all the neon in the area, but it’s worth finding. The star of the evening was the Insulata di Mare, a salad of shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari all in a light lemon vinaigrette with finely diced tri colored peppers and a bit of red onion, parsley. Yumm! We shared this salad as well as the cured meats and cheese board, which had a selection of the best cheeses and meats. For an entrée my daughter-in-law and I both had the grilled salmon with a mustard crust served on a bed of deliciously seasoned spinach. My husband thought he died and went to heaven when he dug into his spaghetti and meatballs which was a special that night. And our son had the best creamy ravioli.(I have to mention my parents were born in Italy, so we know good Italian food and it was all on the table that night.) And did I mention the bread! The best crispy, chewy and warm served with seasoned EVOO. And on it continued with the ‘made in house’ desserts! We had the tiramisu, generous portions and delish as well as chocolate soufflé served warm and gooey with homemade ice cream and the panna cotta, a cooked cream with a berry sauce. I’m going back and soon.

Skip the pizza and go for the Italian fare!!! Best have had in many, many years… pasta is fresh light, airy, sauce is fresh, robust, desserts are out of this world. It’s obvious they care about providing excellent fare, using the freshest ingredients for every entrée and/or dessert! Best part — it’s a BYOB!

Ordered take-out on a Sunday evening. You can feel the authenticity immediately. The Italian gentlemen behind the counter were very helpful and pleasant. One of the best things about this restaurant is that it’s not a chain pushing out vats of the same boring food. The portions are smaller than you’re used too but the ingredients are fresh, well seasoned and a great meal.

The restaurant is very cramped with tables so close you are constantly getting bumped by other patrons and servers. It was also uncomfortably warm inside. The food was very bland. I had a pasta dish that had a very thin, flavorless sauce and some small, unseasoned chicken pieces. I didn’t finish it. The prices are highway robbery for the quality of food they produce. I can’t recommend this place.

First time here; ordered a margarita pizza. Crust was undercooked but more importantly, the«cheese» was not the fresh white mozzarella that is supposed to be used to make a margarita, but the slimy yellowish elastic-like«cheese» that is found on most pizza. I don’t know what it is but it’s not real mozzarella. If I had wanted a regular pizza, I’d have ordered it, but that«cheesy stuff» doesn’t agree with me, so I never eat it. My companion had a sausage & peppers sandwich which was OK. We were there on a Sunday evening. Place had 1 or 2 other customers. The place itself is clean, airy and attractive. Service was fine. Too disappointed in the food to ever return. Plenty of parking.

Real deal pizzas – unbelievable and so glad they opened! I have not tried anything but pizzas and salads. But they are all phenomenal! Fresh, delectable ingredients, prepared with skill. If you are looking for an 18 inch huge cheesy pie with globs of processed shredded mozzarella this is not the place for you. These are small personal pies with all fresh ingredients like homemade mozzarella, radicchio, Italian salami and other yummy specialties. This is not the place to take a soccer team for two large pies. It’s a great place for adults who want something special and delicious. Perfecto! **went back last night(8÷28÷15) for full dinners. Salads and pasta dishes – wow! Delicioso! Authetic Italian food, served by excellent, professional servers(owners?) that seem to be right from Italy. I had Penne Concerto: penne with ham, peas, onions in a light cream sauce. It was tasty, fresh, creamy and a little salty. Portion size was plenty to be full, without being huge. My friend had a margharita puzza with added sausage(perfect!!) And my other friend had another penne dish with sausage and a cream sauce that was equally good. I will be back! They have it nailed at this place! *** Biggest negative – horribly uncomfortable chairs. I would never stay to hang out for long – they are just too small and hard. No way to get comfortable. It’s a BYOB, but I wouldn’t bother. I want to eat my perfect food and get out of those chairs!

Very impressed with the pizza being turned out in this newer Oaks establishment. Light, airy crust with quickly charred underside in a wood fired oven. Most likely a 00 flour used, along a vibrant, fresh tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella. Family run establishment with roots to the old country. Beautiful life! The only thing that keeps this from being top notch, and perhaps I’m nitpicking, but the service isn’t quite there yet. Confusion with the plate situation, and waiting 10 minutes for the bill when there are only a few tables… hoping that gets smoothed out over time.

This was one of the most disappointing restaurants I have been to in a long time. I would like to give them less than 1 star. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon with 1 occupied table in the dining room. We say for 10 minutes before we could get a soda-which was never refilled. Soda is not free refills, but they never asked. We ordered a calzone, a pizza, and a pasta dish. The entries came out at different times and were served one at a time. The food was mediocre at best. After we finished, we vowed to never return. This is sad because we wanted the restaurant to be great.

New Italian BYOB Pizzeria and Restaurant with brick oven goodness in the bustling Oaks area. This place is the real deal… You can tell it’s authentic when everyone is talking Italian in there! I stopped in recently and had a tradizionale calzone, ham, cheese, ricotta, and sauce on the side… they made it from scratch and cooked it in the brick oven in just a few minutes, literally, about 3 minutes… that thing must be HOT! It was very good, but also a bit pricey at $ 13, however, the quality of the ingredients has to be taken into account. Vita Bella is using imported goods from Italy, I bet the local pizza shops in Oaks are getting theirs from Giant or Sysco. They only have bottles\cans of soda, which means no free refills, but they do put your drink in a glass with ice which is a nice touch… A guy came in and sat next to me at the bar with his margherita pizza, which looked really good! In fact, it looked so good, I went back today and had one… I’ve also had a variety of the pasta dishes, and can vouch for the chicken and veal parm. This place is great and I’m in there once or twice a week now for lunch. The pizza’s are 12″ «personal pies». My Margherita was delicious and a good value at $ 9…the pizza prices range from $ 9 – 16. I sat at the bar and watched my pizza made fresh…2 minutes in the brick oven, quick cut, drizzle with oil, and served piping hot… It was very good, nice change from the regular pizza oven pizza… Note the small print on the menu: Pizza shared is subject to a $ 5 share charge unless ordered as an app. The restaurant is brand new, they are still touching up a few things in the store, but it looks pretty classy. Tables all set with water glasses, nice cloth napkins, pitchers of water ready to go… just need some patrons in there! When I stopped in today I thought it was crowded, but it was mostly due to an employee meeting! The menu items are listed in italian, with the english description underneath so you know what you are getting into… they have a variety of lunch and dinner entrée’s, in addition to the brick oven offerings… Panini, burgers, salads, pasta, and of dessert! The desserts are all homemade, the Cannoli shells imported and the filling made in house by Julio. They are also now working on baking their own bread, which is a huge plus! Stop in and say Ciao!
