Our family of four adults had dinner tonight at Sly Fox. The waitress was extremely attentive and the food and beer were great! I had a chicken pretzel sandwich and onion rings, which were incredibly delicious. Others had Grande Burritos and raved about them and the chips and sriracha sauce that came on the side. The Swedesford burger was enjoyed by another one of our family members. My guys are connoisseurs of craft beers and highly recommend the Rt 113IPA. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. We took home a growler to enjoy later on!

Very good food and service !!! we ordered 5 different app’s and all were above expectations. the only down point would be the décor in the dining room, but that’s it. not awful, but could have better seats and tables and more modern.

I absolutely love this place! They make IPA for Wegmans too! It is an awesome brewery and Gabriel is a very nice server too! The food is very good.

My friend and I were in the area and we found this place on Unilocal.First, the inside décor look very odd. It does not have a bar/restaurant appeal at all. Second, the waitress showed up at our table and gave us food and drink menu then she stared at the tv watching a sport event. Third, I asked for one of the samplers on the drink menu. The waitress came back a couple of minutes later saying that some of the beers aren’t available this evening. Lastly, my fried asked for a lamb burger from the food menu. Once again the waitress came back told my friend that lamb burger is not available this evening. I had a chicken gyro and the meat was dry — as someone cooked the meat in low heat on a pan for a very long time. The place doesn’t have a bar/pub appeal, service was pretty bad, and they need tondo something about food and drinks availability. If they don’t have them, cross them out or inform customers ahead of time. My overall experience was rather disappointing.

For the most part I dig the place. Always good service, good food and decent beer. Bottom line it’s a good place to go. Absolutely dig the bar. Whoever made it did a great job. If I had anything to say from an improvement perspective(since I have no complaints) it would be: 1. It can at times be a bit on the loud side(A BIT) with the high ceiling but they have done a great job with acoustic blockers. 2. It does seem crowded when it gets… well…crowded…they should try to do what they can to separate the tables in the main dining area a bit better.

Just not feeling the location any longer. Wait times have gotten worst and the food just isn’t worth the wait. The walk to the bathroom especially when its busy is just terrible especially if you have a young one. You have to walk past servers and other patrons like it is a DMV line and when you get to the bathrooms you feel dirty. They need to be scrubbed and remodeled at this point. Most recent visit it was busy but to sit for a solid 15 minutes and not get a drink order? I packed everyone up and left. Must say the two young kids doing teh seating made sure my bnoy had crayons.

My housband and I usually go to the one in Pottstown and love the atmosphere and the food. We were so excited to leard that there was one in Phoenixville. Only a few minutes from our house in Collegeville. Disappointed, the atmosphere was not anyware near the Pootstown local. This is more like a restaurant. The menu is not the same either. I ordered the lamb burger nd it was overcooked. My housband ordered jerk chicken wings and they were bland. The beer was good though. Next time we are going to Pottstown even if its further.

Inside a nondescript strip mall. Open interior with little to no décor or theme. Open seating, medium to smaller size bar. They allow tasting flights which is nice. Some of their specialties were available in 750mL c&c to go and for consumption inside. Their pilsners are superb and much better fresh on tap than in cans. The Standard Pils we had the day we visited was absolutely amazing and I hope they continue to offer that one. Had some snack food here but there is a full menu of burgers and such I did not sample. Menu looked like 3-stars food wise. Family friendly. Was not very crowded when we went.

After an issue with a faulty can, Sly Fox rep Ally jumped right on the situation to make it right. Sly Fox is always a go-to beer for me, especially at the pool or beach since their brews all come in cans. Thanks for the excellent service Sly Fox!

Good beer + good food. What more could you ask for? We popped by on a Saturday night and didn’t have much trouble getting a seat. Our foursome shared two apps — the egg rolls and the fried pickles — and they were both good. For the mains, there were 2 paninis, a burger and a salad. Everyone was happy with their orders. The décor here was a bit surprising. It was more country diner rather than brew pub. It isn’t a big deal, but as we left, we all made a comment about it.

3 stars due to beer quality only. Bartenders kinds blah but good black raspberry reserve… food ok. empanadas could have been seasoned better and side sauce did not complement dish. French onion had strange sweetness(stout beer input?) to it and lacked that salty luster.

Phoenixville now has a pretty good restaurant scene, so there are a lot of better places to eat, especially if looking for something healthy and good. A place that marks their Nachos and Bucket of Chips as «Vegetarian»??? A vegetarian won’t feel the love here! Sweet potato fries and onion rings were pretty tasty, but the Peace Wrap is a distant memory. They do have outside tables, so that’s a plus.

I heart brewpubs! Made it a point to stop here during our excursion out to Phoenixville. I was actually surprised it was located with a strip mall. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather! I’m glad we did because honestly the inside of the building looked pretty dumpy and to get to the restrooms, you had to pass through part of the kitchen. Let’s see if I can remember all the beers I tried in my flight — Abbey, Grand Cru, Lager, Rauch, Weisse, and Saison. My favorite was the Saison, then the Abbey. The Rauch was really interesting with its noticeable smokey flavor! The Cru and Weisse were good too, I wasn’t a fan of the Lager. It was just… a lager, lol. The beers were very refreshing and a great way to enjoy our Saturday! For food, we got some chips for the table(that bucket was tiny) and I got the pretzel burger which was very yummy, I always love pretzel rolls! Service was meh but it was due to the fact that they had an entire banquet room filled with a party and another 20-top table in addition to that. Didn’t seem like they had enough servers on to cover the large parties. Our server was obviously struggling, but we knew it really wasn’t her fault. My friend and I had ordered sweet potato fries but got regular fries instead. We didn’t want to bother getting them changed out due to how busy it was, as long as we weren’t charged for the fries we didn’t get(and we weren’t, so they just weren’t ever rung in). Took forever to pay because our server kept disappearing — again, due to the massive parties inside. Our server was very nice and friendly, we really enjoyed her. Just not enough staff to handle the large parties.

The service was very good and it wasn’t hard to find a table on a Friday night but I didn’t like the food at all! I had the doc’a salad and the portion was very small so I basically paid 10 dollars for a small bowl of lettuce. Not sure about the beer but I wasn’t a fan of the food.

Eaten here twice. Nice variety of food. They seem to make all of it there which is always awesome. The sweet potato fries are AMAZING. I know that’s an odd thing to enjoy so much but most companies get sweet potato fries from 1 distributor and sly fox does not get them from there, they seem to be made there and they are amazing. Pretzel bun burger is good, pizza burger special is good. Fish tacos were a bit different but decent. Sampler appetizer is great for a few people. Mozzarella cheese wedges are yummy, onion rings are spot on. Saw some else with soup and a sandwich that looked great too. Bartenders seems knowledgable of beers but servers seem to be lacking a bit. All are nice and courteous though.

Great selection of pub food and awesome beers. It’s not a huge place, so sometimes there might be a wait. That’s fine for me because I’ll grab a beer at the bar. They typically have a their staples and a few new beers every time I come in. Beer is fantastic. I highly recommend taking some of their cans or a growler to go.

Cool place, OK food, good beer. I actually really like Sly Fox. However, my girlfriend and I went there and they charged her credit card $ 35 whereas she had only tipped up to a total of $ 34. WTF? Maybe just a mistake — who knows? Trying to make an additional buck on a bill does seem pretty cheap. Should we call them and try to sort things out? With all the other things to do in life, fighting for $ 1 isn’t worth it. But it does leave us with a feeling of having been screwed… Not cool.

Been to this location a handful of times and the best thing about it is the beer. The food is decent, although I really like their fish and chips, everything else I’ve ordered has just been okay… nothing really memorable. The bartenders are much more friendly and knowledgable about their beers than the waitstaff is but that’s just been my experience. The reason my boyfriend and I keep returning is because of their beer and growler refills. They have a 65-oz sampler which we often get and the majority of their growlers are $ 8-$ 9 to fill. Overall, not a bad location but some things could be improved upon.

Nice brewpub located in a strip mall on Rt 113 in Phoenixville. Casual atmosphere; good service. Beers are consistently good; some better than others. Their annual Christmas celebration(usually held on 1st Fri. in December) is always a fun event. Features 20+ beers; many rare ones. Favorites include Ichor Quad, Raspberry, Xmas, Saison Vos, London Calling Porter, 18th Anniversary IPA. There is a style for everyone here! Also one of the 1st local breweries to use cans. Food is very nice; I really loved my chicken gyro w/sweet potato fries. Well worth the trek from Philly. If you’re in the area check it out!
