Exceptional quality and awesome space. I had acupuncture for my hip on Saturday and the following day I felt some amazing relief and strength. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! This place is awesome!

I went there for acupuncture. I was nervous but Lisa put me at ease. She described the process and the length I would be looking at which was right on target with what I’d read online for what i wanted treated.(About 6 months, once a week). They have community acupuncture as well to make it more affordable. It works! I have better circulation and became more relaxed.

Worst company, if they even choose to call themselves that, I have EVER worked with. I paid $ 75 for CPR class, called told them I was not able to make it they told me EXACTWORDS«Tough %$&*» REALLY Professional. They told me they could mail me a CPR certificate, even if I didn’t take the course… like really? That would be document of fraud! I will be reporting to the Red Cross as well.

Had to get some relief out due too loaded work and school schedule last semester. I scheduled for therapeutic massage with Lisa who was amazing. Her peaceful energy, understanding and remarkable touch got rid of my stress and pumped me up with some fresh and inspiring energy before the Holidays. Now looking back to schedule another session with Lisa to treat myself for the Spring Break.

I recently purchased a groupon for yoga classes at Gateway Bodyworks and I couldn’t be happier. I have taken three different classes with two different instructors(Lisa and Holly) and each one was unique, relaxing, and appropriately challenging. I am so glad I found them!

My husband and I purchased a Groupon for a Couple Massage at Gateway Bodyworks. I had massages in the past but my husband had never had a massage, so he was nervous. When we arrived, Lisa(the owner) greeted us and made us feel right at home. She was so sweet. We had to fill out a brief survey regarding any health/medical issues and we were on our way to get our massages. Matt and Mara were fabulous! They made us feel comfortable and Matt gave the best massage I have ever had. Since it was my husbands first time getting a massage, he couldn’t compare it against past massages but he did say it was the best massage ever and can’t wait to go back! Mara and Matt also gave us a few pointers as well. They were great and I can’t say enough good things about this place. The décor was modern and the facility was was clean and very inviting.

I’ve been going to Gateway Bodyworks for therapeutic massage for awhile now. I generally see Lisa Firey, the owner, but if she hasn’t been available, others have been equally awesome! You are always greeted as if you are a long lost friend and the atmosphere is immediately relaxing. The bathrooms(only on the downstairs level) are large and nicely decorated and the massage rooms are pleasant and inviting. I typically get myfascial massage, which, if you’ve ever had it you know that it can release a good deal of emotion along with tight fascia. Lisa is right there, encouraging the release physically and emotionally. Lisa has also given me tips on how I can make certain physical adjustments myself, which I consider outstanding customer service! While I haven’t been able to take advantage of the many classes offered at Gateway, I will pass on kudos from friends who have!

I got a Groupon deal for 6 Community Acupuncture classes and decided to give this place a chance, despite me living about 25 min. away. I am so glad I bought the deal, because the acupuncture is totally worth the drive in itself. Gateway doesn’t look like much when you drive up to it. It is a bit off the beatin’ path. But once you step inside, it is like zen. I really like the feeling of this place. Kelly is my favorite acupuncturist. She is very knowledgeable and supportive. The reason I decided to do acupuncture was because I was undergoing IVF treatments. I started going right before my egg retrieval and right up through transfer, until I got my positive pregnancy result 2 weeks later. Kelly knows a lot about IVF and asked me appropriate questions about the process and what I was going through. I was impressed with her knowledge. Not to mention, at $ 25 a pop, the Comm. Acupuncture is a steal. The room where they do the acupuncture is very comfortable and I almost always fall asleep during my session. A total of 5 people can do a session at one time and the place is rather busy. Also, they have a nice web site and you can book your appointments on line, which is very convenient. But there were 2 times where I emailed them and they got back to me really quick. All around great place!

My hubby and I recently visited this place for an acupuncture treatment and Kelly did an amazing job. We were first-timers, so she detailed what she was doing and what it would do for us and made sure we were comfortable. For those who have never gotten acupuncture before, I’ll give you a little rundown. If you have a specific ailment, let her know so she can focus on that area a little more. For me, it was digestion, for the hubby, it was his shoulder, and she put the needles in a few different places accordingly. We only had to roll our pants legs up and shirt sleeves up, so plan to wear something loose. Because I mention digestion, I did have to bare my tummy a little, but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. After the pins are inserted, she dims the lights. There’s soft music playing and you are left there to relax while the pins do their magic. This being my first time, I didn’t know what to expect, but I have to say, I felt pain begin and then dissipate in areas that have been problematic in the past, such as my jaw. It was interesting for sure and I would definitely go back any time. Special note: The yoga studio is gorgeous here. Deal note: While regular treatments are roughly $ 70 – 80, they offer group treatments at $ 25 a pop, so as long as you’re okay being around others, it’s a real steal!

I can not say enough great things about these classes. I’ve brought with me neighbors, friends, and my husband and we all find Lisa to be fantastic, sweet, hardcore about her yoga(she adjusts the community yoga to fit the group, but most of the times we’ve been its been a hard hour and 15 mins) and incredibly gifted as a teacher. I really recommend checking out the Friday 6:30p yoga class. And if that doesn’t work with your schedule, check out their site. They’re schedule is really broad and I can usually find 2 – 3 nights a week that work for me, even with work being 50+ hrs per week.

Oh.My.Word. I just had a Therapeutic Massage with Lisa at Gateway Bodyworks. I want to melt into my bed, I feel so relaxed. This place is great and I need to add frequent massage to my life. When I arrived, I filled out a questionnaire that asks about pain, tension, problem areas, along with a medical history.(This is important stuff!) Lisa and I sat down before my massage and reviewed it together. She wanted to know about any sensitive areas or any areas that are painful. I have nerve damage in my left shoulder from surgery several years ago. Lisa wanted to make sure that I did not experience any discomfort or pain during my massage. The hour felt like an hour and a half(in a good way!) and Lisa was attentive and very thorough. She’s also a very kind person, too, and we chatted throughout. They offer 30, 60 and 90 minute sessions. And, they also offer chair massage, too. What an investment in feeling good.
