Woolaver Clearsmiles Orthodontics

After spending full cost of braces (paying full cost of out pocket) I have received one retainer. When that retainer was lost I’ve contacted the office for replacement. I was told it would be $ 300, they don’t bill insurance, however I can pay out of pocket and submit the invoice to insurance agency. What I am fine with. Trying to be proactive I’ve contacted the insurance agency myself for pre-​estimate.
Insurance agency is requesting statement with codes so they could tell me if it’s covered.
After speaking with Theresa, I have left speechless. She had pretty much told me to «find another practice that will do that for you, we don’t deal with insurance you have to pay out of pocket»
I’ve said I understand, this is just an estimate statement for them so I can bill them later if it’s covered.
Theresa said «yes I understand, we will not provide you with that. Good luck finding somebody that will.»
Theresa also had interrupted me while I was speaking several times.
Only thing I can say WOW. Spending over $ 4,500 and this is how I am being treated. Mind blowing.
Disappointing. Would never expected this treatment because during my treatment process Dr Woolaver was always caring and professional.

I was so impressed with Clearsmiles that I felt I needed to come home and write a review right away. The customer service was beyond amazing! It felt like you’re in a room full of your friends. Everyone is so friendly, easy going, and they have a great sense of humor that put my son at total ease.
When you walk in, you’re warmly greeted by some very friendly ladies. The office was a cross between a sports bar and an arcade. I liked that because it makes you feel comfortable. People don’t generally like going to the dentist/​orthodontist but the relaxed feel makes the experience better. They have a Keurig with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, a soda fountain, and even an ice cream machine. There’s computers and games for children to play with to make the wait time entertaining.
My son needed braces and was a little scared and nervous with the whole process. They explained the entire procedure and gave him a play by play of what they were doing. We were just supposed to have the initial consultation only, but they were sweet enough to squeeze us in and put his braces on the same day! I will be forever grateful for that!
As we all know, braces aren’t cheap and Clearsmiles understands that. They have several options to make braces affordable to their patients. You can finance through a company or you can finance with them. They offer in-​house financing and will work with you.
I’m so glad that we chose Clearsmiles. I couldn’t be happier with that decision. I highly recommend Clearsmiles, If I could give them 10 stars I would!

The Customer Service here is AWESOME. Not often do you come across a company that goes out of their way to support their patients. Definitely GLAD on the choice for Woolaver to handle my Sons Braces !!!
