This is the best uhaul I have ever been to. The staff is super accommodating. They have quick efficient service! I needed to get a hitch installed and to rent a trailer while on a tight time schedule. When I brought my car in for the hitch installation they called VW to make sure the wiring for the hitch would work. VW instructed them to just bring the car to a dealership for wiring. So uhaul refunded me the cost of the wiring I had purchased from them and then they advised me that if the wiring from the dealership became costly, I could come back and uhaul would figure something out with their super center. Sure enough, VWs wiring was +$ 500! So I brought the car back to uhaul. because of my tight timeline, they were able to uninstall the rest of the hitch parts so I could get a refund and change my former trailer reservation to a truck. I was in and out quickly. Thanks Austin and all the guys who work hard at this location!

I can’t say enough good things about Billy Bryant, the general manager of this U-Haul location. He is all about honesty, fairness and customer service. In fact, U-Haul should send him to its call center to whip that place in shape and teach them the ins and outs of customer service. If you’re interested in renting equipment from U-Haul, I urge you to go to the location and fill out the application there. DONOT attempt to do it by telephone because you run the risk of reaching the call center. I went to the store(southeast corner of 40th Street and Camelback) and filled out a tentative application to rent a truck, then tried a couple of hours later to follow up by telephone. I reached a call center(calls are forwarded there when the local staff are busy) representative who couldn’t find the tentative application and filled out another one. In the process, she got it all screwed up and tried to charge me way too much. I went to the store and Billy intervened and straightened it out. Nothing beats a face-to-face contact, particular when the person you’re dealing with cares about you as a customer and what he’s doing.
