I have to say, I was really disappointed in this. I’ve done one other room escape here in town and thought it was pretty good, so I wanted to give this a try. First, the good: the staff was helpful. That’s really about it. Now, the bad: 1) The location is completely hidden, and completely exacerbated by having different addresses on the tickets, the confirmation email, and on their website. In the parking lot, there’s no signage or anything. 2) When we got into the room, I was SHOCKED at how small it was. We only had 7 people and it was next to impossible to move inside this room… and they take up to 12 people at a time. This also makes it really stupid when you’re trying to dodge the«zombie». 3) This is very minor, but, we were told when we went in that the«zombie» would get you out if he touched your foot with his hand; so, my strategy was to just stay away from his hands. I was quite surprised to find out that he could touch me with his feet and get me «out» as well. 4) I had understood that the zombie would get an extra foot of chain per 5 minutes… well, after the first 15 minutes, the zombie had full range of the room… we were only surviving, simply put, because the zombie was being nice and having fun with us. 5) Their clues/riddles/puzzles are really, really bad. Like, god-awful bad. There needs to be at least SOME logic to the puzzle, but there was none of that here. I wish I could go into detail, but that would obviously ruin things, but, I’ll make up an example: if you’re trying to escape a room, it doesn’t make any sense at all to do things like require you to count the number of ceiling tiles and electrical outlets in the room… but there was something very similar to that we encountered. There should be a logic and a flow to things, as the other room escapes do. 6) This was particularly bad. As we were completing tasks, one of the guys running the game was continually re-setting puzzles for the next game. This lead to members of our team stumbling upon a key or other new clue and trying it, only for the guys running it to say, «You already used that key.» Gee, thanks! We just spent several minutes trying to use it… 7) Two of the puzzles were essentially broken. It was pretty rough there. If these guys seriously want to run a good show, they should eliminate the zombie(or use a bigger room… and follow their rules on the chain), and they need to revamp their clues in a big way.

Definitely fun and something new. I wouldn’t say its for younger children because the riddles aren’t exactly straightforward. The staff is fun and really into the production and our group enjoyed the experience! If you’re looking for a cool challenge and are willing to suspend your disbelief this is definitely worth checking out. Get a group that is into riddles and puzzles and it really will be entertaining!

It is what it is. A fun Sunday spent using our intellect to avoid being bitten by a zombie. My advice is to fill a group with your friends. We ended up with some young gigglers that took up space and were useless. The experience was fun. I mean, who doesn’t want their ankles bit by a zombie? Not for children. Really. Maybe older teens with a parent. There are brains(hehe) required and teamwork. Don’t go drunk or you won’t get in. Get drunk after.

I took my daughter(13) and her friend(14). They both had a great time and would love to do it again. In fact, the friend wants to take her family too. We had a groupon so it was affordable for us to go. The clues were fun and some were challenging. Everyone worked well together. The zombie keeps you on guard. The chain gets longer every five minutes so be careful and don’t get touched or your out! The nice thing is that even if you do get touched and are out, you can still help with the clues but you have to sit in the corner the rest of the game. There were 9 total ppl in our group. Of the nine, four made it all the way through the game without getting touched by the zombie. We completed the game in 45 minutes. The address is : 5047 E Elliot Rd Phoenix Afterwards we went for frozen yogurt. It was a nice day. Go see for yourself how much fun this is!

Awesome fun night out. A group of 6 of us joined another small group of 4 and in we went not really knowing what to expect. It was hard!!! First they tell you the back story, doctor becomes zombie while working in a lab but before she transitions she locks herself in and leaves clues so that she could get out if cured. They tell you the stats, only 34% of groups get out of the room in the hour. You go in and the zombie is on a chain and if she touches you you are out and can participate by talking but not moving around. Room is crowded with the number of people and she has a long chain that keeps getting longer every 5 minutes. We worked our butts off from the minute we got in to when we escaped and yes, we escaped with 15 minutes left. Lots of clues to put together to figure out the combinations. It is fun, challenging and something I highly recommend for a night out. Wish the chain on the zombie stated a little shorter to give you a chance to get some going but guess that is what makes it so hard and why so few get out. They do take a picture at the end of your group with funny signs and it is a good time all around!
