Another name the same game. Over my years working right behind this spot it has had a number of names. Now it is called copper dome to match that of the capital. The menu consists of Sandwiches burgers and a few deep fried items. not is unique, or special. The items themselves are not bad, and not great either. Prices are about $ 6 to 7 with out a drink which I think is a bit steep for this neighborhood and quality levels. On my last trip here I had a cheap $ 5 egg salad sandwich, there was not too much filling in it, 6 bites and it was gone. The side of pasta salad that came in a small plastic cup was ok but nothing special. I was glad that for Friday it included a piece of chocolate cake. Looking at their kitchen a microwave and deep fryer seem to be the extent of their cooking wares, not a sign of culinary excellence. There also is a door that is open to the adjacent bar which has always confused me. If you don’t work in walking distance and choose to come here there is some street parking just East of the bar.

YEAHFORANOTHERLUNCHSPOTOPENINGUPDOWNBYTHESTATECAPITOL. This is exciting to me, since I work over there. Salads, Sandwiches, and even ffrench ries! I’ve had the Chicken Cobb Salad– really delicious and big serving, only $ 5.95. I’ve also tried the tuna scoop– I liked it a lot, only $ 1.95. Co workers enjoyed chicken salad sandwiches and the turkey club. We did take out each time, but the inside is clean, cozy and a perfect space for a quick lunch. The owner is so nice, it seems she has family members working– very friendly and I like them. If you work by the State Capitol– The Copper Dome Café is a MUST!
