I had a great experience, we came by on a whim and discovered a treasure trove of yarn! We even ended up coming back a few days later for more souvenir yarn for the girls back home. I got yarn for a special vest for my husband… The spider vest and it was great. Highly recommend visiting. Call first if it’s along drive as it’s a one person show and life happens.

Visited during posted store hours, door locked. No one answered their phone. Call before attempting to visit to see that they are actually open!

I enjoyed my first visit to the shop very much, and expect to be back again, and soon. There are some great yarns at some great prices and inspiration jumps out from every shelf. One caveat: if you, like me, are allergic to cat dander — there are two large, shed-dy shop kitties, and they have the run of the place. Next time, I’ll stoke up on antihistamines before I arrive, and bring hydro-cortisone cream for my hands after I thouroughly scrub them at the end of my visit!

Yippe! A yarn store in the Northwest Valley. Interesting yarns made from soy, bamboo, and other unique fibers. The hand dyed yarn is lovely & vibrant. Fun and trendy classes are offered frequently. I found this shop fairly easy to get to via the 101&23rd Ave coming from the west valley. Well worth a visit. There are 2 resident cats that are very warm and welcoming. But if you have allergies, let Jonelle know, and she quickly puts the kitties away.
