Subway

i just started working not to far from this location, so I have been here 3 times so far for lunch in the last week alone. This is the healthiest option in this part of town, accept maybe a taco bell down the street a ways… to say the least I have been to better Subways. It does not seem like there is a whole lot to say about a Subway, pretty cut and dry but at this location I do have a few things to say…
Every time I go here almost half of the tables in the store are dirty, I don’t take my lunch back to work, I usually eat it in the store it’s my zen time… so a clean table would be nice, this place never seems to to busy when I have gone in so you think they would have time to do this. Then again, I have only seen 4 different young girls working here, I have never seen anyone that looks like a manager anytime I have been here. I would say the oldest of them might be 20. They never give me enough napkins to wipe off the table before I sit down, so I always have to ask for extra.
Two out of the three times I have been there they have run out of the unsweetened tea. It’s all I drink… so this has REALLY sucked when you don’t drink soda, and that is all you have to choose from, no trying to drink a bunch of sugar.
They also don’t seem to mind homeless people coming into to use the bathroom for an extended amount of time, or grab free water from the fountain, in there dirty cups. I work in a garage and occasionally…(and by occasionally I mean EVERYTIME) would like to wash my hands before I eat, the bathroom always seems to be locked or occupied, usually by a street vagrant or who knows why.
The customer service is lacking… the girls are friendly enough, but no one has asked me if I would like a meal, and the other day, the girl made me wait till she was done re-​loading the cookie box by the register with fresh cookies before she started to take my order, you could of stopped to help me and then got back to that, with 3 other staff members there mind you.
The second time I was there my sub was done, but she finished the two subs behind mine, for the party after me that I was not with and kept me waiting, I can only assume because she did not want to take her gloves off, so meanwhile my sandwich is just sitting behind the counter, and I am standing there waiting for these other people to decided what they are going to have on their two subs for like 5 minutes before I even got rung up. Hello I am on my lunch break I don’t need to stand and wait for you to finish someones other order because you don’t want to take the time to put on new gloves, again, there were two other staff members on site.
Today I got the roasted chicken breast foot-​long on 9 grain honey oat… my bread was stale… and they were out of Ice tea… SMH
If I can help it I will not be back here.
I am not really that impressed with this Subway I heard there is one in down town Glendale with crappy parking, think I will try that one tomm. Whoever owns this place needs to kick management straight in the butt out the door! And get someone in there who will work and instill proper training techniques regarding customer service and in general cleanliness.

Sooooooooo… this time there was food in the house, but the hubs was not pleased with the selection. We took the pup to the dog park and decided to hit up Subway on the way home.
We walk in. There are 3 people behind the counter and zero customers.
I walk up. Place my bread and meats order. The girl with way to much makeup and false lashes to boot gives me a loaf that was totally ripped on the bottom, but I didn’t make her get a new one out, I figured I could maneuver it. So she slaps on the meat and cheese and down the line it goes to the next girl.
I asked for mayo and mustard. I was sorry that I had :(She globs on the mayo in two big piles far apart from each other. THANKFULLY when she squeezed on the mustard such an enormous amount came out that she was forced to spread it around, thus adequately spreading the mayo.
Next up veggies. I asked for olives, she drops 4 on. Whatev. I then asked for extra banana peppers, she drops on 5. This I would not keep quiet about, I lurv banana peppers. So I say I asked for extra, can I please have some more on there? To which I get the side eye and a few more banana peppers added to the mustard sandwich.
Next up was the hubs. His sandwich was a train wreck as well. He asked for sweet onion sauce on it, the girl looked at about 3 different bottles and then got so flustered that the hubs had to tell her to calm down and to skip the sauce. Oi
We will go out of our way to go to a different location. This one has very incompetent sandwich «artists» behind the counter
