Splendid Nails

Con: Either my previous gel was really good or the manicurist hasn’t handled gel manicures too much. Since it was so difficult to take off, my finger nails and cuticles got practically sandpapered off. My nails were rough and felt like it was being scrapped off. She wasn’t great at cutting the edges off my cuticle and seemed to do a half ass job with that.
Pro: The color selection was fine. The manicurist was friendly. I liked that this location offered the uv protection gloves for people who were getting gel manicure.

This place sucks. I went at 7:30 and they said they couldn’t take me because they close at 8. When the sign clearly says 9. There were about 5 workers just sitting around too. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. & they were rude to me.

The quality of their work has definitely gone down. I was initially drawn to them because they could do a variety of nail «styles» which I prefer to the standard French tip that’s so popular in North Phoenix. The first couple of times going there my mani/​pedi was on point so I decided to make them my go to place.
My most recent full set was absolutely atrocious! After two days, the polish started chipping away to where half of the acrylic nail was exposed on most of my nails. I wanted to look good for my vacation but I’m ashamed of how my nails look and I’m even more ashamed I tipped the nail tech for nails that literally only lasted a couple of days.
I’m pretty sure they put water in the polish to dilute it and make it «stretch.»
Bottom line: Avoid this placemat all costs.
Better yet, buy some polish and do your own nails.

Asked for pedi and was seated within time frame of 10 mins. While lady painted my french pedi I asked her to fix one toe and lady fought with me about it saying my toe was crooked. So I explained i do have a crooked toe but my nail is not crooked and the way she painted it made it look more crooked. Nice but do not recommend because of the hassle.

Worst backfill ever! Crooked filing, rough edges, uneven color and my fingers are itchy and red!
Tech was dismissive and didn’t care what I had to say.
Never, ever again.

Came in with my mother one day because
she wanted to get a quick mani pedi and try this place out.
I was only there for 5 mins as i had other mall business to attend too,
but those 5 mins were long enough to tell that this place is terrible!
I was looking at nail polish options with my mom to help her pick out
a color. (There wasnt much of a color selection and alot of the polishes
looked so old and crusty, like theyve been collecting them for years!
My mom started doing swatches on her nails when some lady came
by to help us. She started swatching them for her and wouldn’t let her
do it herself. Then i left and came back and my mom still wasn’t done.
My mom was still having trouble deciding on a color so she told me to
go pick another one and bring it to her. I brought back around 5 color
options and the lady again started swatching them on her. My mom still
wasnt happy with the color options so she told me to get another color.
I did and lady said «No more please». I got super annoyed because if
my mom is paying for a manicure then she should be able to get the color
she wants! Am i right? As we were leaving my mom said the lady was a bitch
towards the end. I really hope my mom didnt tip her. Dont go here. There
are way better options out there.

This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced I got my nails done Monday and on Tuesday night one my nails chipped in half the lady who was doing my nails is so rude to everyone it’s insane I was I. Shock when she was talking to me

I wasn’t very happy with the service here, I visited as a walk in I did not have an appointment. I was greeted quickly and my friend and I were whisked into chairs, one of which didn’t work. The technician that I had didn’t seem to know what he was doing, the massage aspect was not good at all and there was just no general flow to the whole entire pedicure. Its convenient but I would not return.

Great service at competitive prices!
Service is fast, effective and mostly friendly. There is not much to say, but I am loving this hidden spot! It’s located right in between Macy’s and Hot Topic! :)
