Sophy’s Clinique

I went there for the HCG diet. They did not provide the background, theory, or timeline. They gave a single sheet of paper for instructions and all the hormones up front (that runs the risk of them degrading as they age or becoming bacterially contaminated). They did not adequately address exercise, so I wound up gaining weight on the program and being chronically lightheaded.

3 treatments for a couple sun spots and zero results. They just kept telling me 1 more treatment and you’ll see results. Stay away from this place!!!

I tried to make an appointment on a Monday morning. I called the number listed and a very…“I hate Monday’s” voice (Jan) told me that she couldn’t talk but would call me back. She hung up as I said my name and number to the dial tone… Nope. She never asked my name or number and I did not get a call back.
I don’t have the time or energy to beg for an appointment. I won’t be calling back.

I bought a Living Social deal for microdermabrasion and facial. When I called to schedule my appointment, I learned that the spa is only open from 8 – 5 M-​F, and one Saturday per month from 8 – 1. Twice I tried to schedule a Saturday appointment; however, each time I was told that they weren’t sure which Saturday they would be working and that I would receive a return call. Of course that never happened. I finally just took a day off of work to take care of a bunch of things, including getting this service. My appointment was at 1pm, but at 10am I got a phone call saying they needed to reschedule because the person doing my facial called out. Considering I took off of a work to have this done, I was highly annoyed. I went ahead and rescheduled for a Saturday — yes, that’s right, a Saturday, which they could never seem to schedule ahead of time before. But two minutes later I got another phone call saying they called in a replacement to do my facial.
My facial itself was good, and the staff was nice upon my arrival. However, due to their limited hours, I probably won’t be going back.

For starters, the dreadful woman at the front desk looked like she has been sleeping when she opened the door. Never acknowledged or thanked me. One of the worst, most unfriendly people I’ve met.
The front desk person never offered anything to drink, and then disappeared to the back office, even though I had some questions about the facial.
The owner obviously has spent a lot of time, money and effort to have a business, and yet hires the worst front desk client services people ever. I don’t get it. Remember first impressions are very important. I don’t think they got that memo.
Then the «facialist» finally arrived — 20 minutes LATE. No apologies, and she seemed definitely in a hurry to get me OUT of there. This was probably her first job out of school, very unprofessional. Don’t let her touch your skin.
Their photofacial equipment was primitive and behind the times compared to other spas.
It was one of the worst experiences ever. Just dreadful. The owner needs to evaluate the people she hires.
To their benefit, the owner had heard about my bad experience and called me to apologize. She seemed genuinely nice. However, it’s time to clean house, if you know what I mean.

I recently heard from a friend that Sophy’s Clinique was THE place to go in Phoenix so I figured I would give it a try, I am really choosy when going to any time of spa and when I met Dr. Sophia Yang for my consultation I was blown away by her knowledge and attention to detail.
When I stepped into the spa the first thing I saw was a beautiful, white facility with a friendly face at reception. I am in LOVE with Sophy’s and I am recommending them to ALL my friends!

Nice, comfortable and private. Went in for my first time and really was pleased that it was more of a medical feel to it then just a spa which was nice when getting in depth skin treatments and they do botox, fillers and weight loss. The Doctor was on site and did the initial exam and treatment.
