Always friendly service! These folks have me coming back morning after morning. If the drive thru line is ever backed up, they’ll come to your window and take your order. Interior is lovely too. Great food, love the burrito. Great local gem!

What a local treasure! Smooth Brew has excellent drip coffee, and genuinely nice people working here. They have the best scones I have ever had, and they are vegan and gluten free. Their drive through service is always speedy. Highly recommend!

The coffee here is super delicious, and I love the staff. They are very professional, kind, and welcoming. I am greeted with a smile each time I go in, and it is very much appreciated. I am definitely becoming a regular there :)

Adorable little place with super cute décor and atmosphere and GREAT food. I had the green monster smoothie AND a caramel machiatto because I like to stay all hopped up and healthy at the same time. I also had a delish breakfast sandwich which I can’t remember the name of for the life of me! I know it had carmelized onions which they left off to the side for me as requested.(yay for accommodating chicks who like their stuff on the side) I love how they had the little water station so we could all stay seriously hydrated in the dry Arizona clime. :)

Smooth Brew Coffee offers up traditional fare coffee such as lattes, espresso, & cold brew, but really stands out with their much welcome variety of specialty drinks, & a food menu with light breakfast and lunch type fare, all at great prices. Their coffee beans are sourced from a local roaster, Altitude Coffee, which they use to blend into the aforementioned specialty drinks and a very smooth cold brew coffee. The beans change periodically, but what is guaranteed is Smooth Brew will do just that, and put out a well balanced, flavorful blend of beans. You can tell the owner really loves coffee, as it’s evident that Smooth Brew is a labor of love. I’ve tried all their specialty drinks, such as their Turkish Latte, which is an experience to try, and my palate welcomes it every time I feel like having«something different». The Chocolate Mac Attack is another of their specialty drinks, and it’s a monster mocha with 6 espresso shots for the price of $ 5& change. It’s a great deal. My next favorite is their Mocha En Fuego, a Mexican style mocha with a spicy kick. See the pictures for their other, equally good specialty drinks. In short, if you come only for coffee, they deliver in spades, but that’s not all… The décor is very inviting, comfortable, clean & inviting, with just enough pizzazz. Satellite radio was jiving along in the background, not too quiet or too loud. The setup is open and inviting, with a corner in the back that offers slightly more of an enclosed feel without being cut off from the room, I enjoyed my Chocolate Mac Attack while surfing their BLAZING fast WiFi(sustained download speeds of 60MB/sec). I have uploaded a picture with a speed test. There were 12 patrons at the time, and I estimate the seating arrangements to accommodate around 30+ patrons. Next item to try on the menu is their food, and I’ll update when I do. Everything is under $ 5, less tax. A couple examples are Green Eggs & Turkey bowl & Hawaiian Swiss Piggy Panini, to name just two. The building is handicap accessible, so no worries if you have a wheelchair or walker. I can’t say anything bad about this place, I love it. However, I’ve been here several times, but still accidentally drove by the place. It’s right off McDowell on the south side, but it blends in with the surrounding buildings, and I guess I just don’t «expect» to see a coffee place there. If that’s my only complaint, then fellow Unilocalers and coffee aficionados are truly in for a treat, as this could very well be a «speak easy» location. For now.

Lovely café with delicious handcrafted espresso drinks and treats! Friendly staff, cute décor and ample seating. Most popular drinks are the horchata latte, tres leches latte and mocha en fuego. Turkish latte — fantastic cardamom notes, an earthy spice for an authentic tasting latte Horchata latte — creamy with a hint of sweetness. My sister loved this! Empanada — homemade daily by the owner — legit. My sister has lived in Chile and Argentina and enjoyed this. My mom enjoyed her ginger peach tea and our friend liked her raspberry smoothie — you can mix/match any of the smoothie flavors(strawberry, piña colada, mango, blueberry POM, lemonade, banana, peach) for a fun treat!

Slow your roll on McDowell to pop into this place. Super sweet staff and really good coffee! Ample street parking is available so don’t let the tiny parking lot sway you. There isn’t an outside patio out back which would be my only wish list item

I drive by this place every single day on my way to work, and normally don’t have time to stop. However, this morning I made it a point to leave a few minutes early and pop in. Suuuuuper cute inside, totally my style. The ladies were friendly. I decided on the red velvet chiller. OHMYGOSH. Yum. So yummy. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the wait. There were only the two ladies working, handling the drive thru and inside customers, so the wait was a tad longer than expected. However, even with that being said, I will definitely be back! They also have a loyalty card, buy 10 get 1 free.

I want to call this a hidden gem. because when we were driving up to it. it was sketch centrla. but once we got to smooth brew coffee. WOW. The green monster was delicious. That baby kale really made the drink not taste kaley and just amazing. I am so happy Unilocal sent me to this gem! I will defnitely be coming back, and everyone who worked here was super sweet, funny and just delightful!

Great new coffee place in CenPho! The coffee is great and they have vegan and gluten-free options for food. I recommend the Iced Soy Mocha and High Maintenance bowl(breakfast bowl with quinoa, black beans and sweet potato). I’ve always been a Lux fan, but these folks are friendlier and have gluten free pastries. That’s enough to win me over. 5 stars, easy.

Their cappuccino was perfect, dense and creamy, but light and airy at the same time. Well done Smooth Brew! I haven’t tried any other menu items, but I will return soon. The atmosphere is nice. It’s cute, they play good music, and the service was great.

They opened their doors two months ago. They are open at 5:30A! That is important if 1) you work and 2) you want to beat the heat. There are only a few other places nearby with those hours. They are close to the Coronado Neighborhood and have a long drive-thru area(meaning you will not be stuck out in the street to be in line). They take phone-in orders. There is parking behind the building and on the street. They are user friendly, meaning if they don’t know how to make what you order they will look it up and try. I ordered my standard, a Cortado. It was a good try, for my barrista’s first time. He offered and served it with sparkling water(and an improvised cup). I also got a cold brew to go – tasty, they serve it up with crushed ice. For ‘outsiders’ who don’t understand the importance of a cold brew(I can’t believe the term Toddy has been legally trademarked) this is the desert and we have been under excessive heat warnings all week.(Iced coffee is refreshing and satisfying.) They have breakfast sandwiches, I ordered a Swiss Piggy, and enjoyed it. There was a generous amount of thinly sliced juicy ham and melted Swiss cheese. Bottom line: service, attitude, ambiance and cleanliness gets five stars.(Especially nice is that ownership/management is present.)

Love this place! I’m a huuuuuge coffee addict(don’t talk to me if I haven’t had my coffee lol). When this place opened I was so excited. A fast close by coffee place best thing didn’t have to drive to starbucks and wait the long lines for an expensive coffee. My faves are the lattes and caramel machiato. Yum! The staff is super friendly, fun and best of all affordable. Love the little stickers they put on the coffee cups! Will keep coming back.

After catching wind that a new coffee shop was in my neighborhood I decided to give it a whirl. I had a deep craving for a delicious pastry to start my week off with so I headed on over to Smooth Brew Coffee. Everyone in my neighborhood has been raving about how delicious this place is so I figured I’d support a local business and satisfy my taste buds. I pulled right around to the drive-thru and the parking lot was pretty empty. I was glad to see this so I didn’t have to fight the Monday crowd. I asked the nice cashier at the window what pastries they had and he had me at cheese danish. Score! However, when he told me the price was $ 2.98 I about choked. Then I figured that I would get a decent size danish for that price. Boy, was I wrong. From just looking at it I noticed that it was small and there wasn’t enough filling in it, especially for the price I just paid. I only took one bite out of it because it was really dry and it was stale tasting, even the filling. The danish tasted like it was a day old and not freshly made, which does not make me happy considering I was really hoping to like this place. My $ 2.98 cheese danish went into the trash after one bite because it was very dry and lacked flavor. I really wanted to like this place because it’s located near my home and pretty much everyone in my neighborhood likes this place, but after my overpriced dry danish I won’t be going back. I was going to give their coffee a whirl but I think I’ll stick with my Dutch Bros. and I’ll stick with Karl’s Bakery for their pastries. I understand this place is fairly new and they’re probably still working out some kinks, so maybe one day I’ll go back. But as of now my taste buds are scarred and sad from the disappointing danish that I subjected them to this morning.
