Fish tacos from a tex-​mex place IN AN AIRPORT!!!
Call me desperate or call me calculated, but this place had some pretty darn good fish tacos! Fresh tasting fish, tasty garnishes, and 4 flat screen TVs make this an ideal spot for me… and apparently a lot more people… the place was packed!
I was just tired of paying $ 15 for a $ 1.99 egg muffin style sandwich at SFO, so I held out until the flight landed in phoenix.
With a long layover and a growling stomach, I accepted the fact that I would need to eat somewhere… now I can’t wait to come back!

Stopped here for a quick bite prior to my flight. Made my bowl vegan which basically came down to 5 ingredients and boy did they skimp. For the price, and I get it… The airport is always overpriced, but then you add in the reduction of food choices that comes with the meal and it was like I got half the serving for a full price. Needless to say it was not worth the price at all. The speed however was super quick and seeing the amount of people they were serving food to at once that was pretty impressive.
Well, you live and you learn next time I just have to pack my lunch when flying, just sucks when you’re delayed. Maybe they can figure out some kind of balance to make the cost with it.

Well damn, over $ 16 for 8 mini chimi bites, and a beer.
The bites had very little filling, but were otherwise tasty.
Even for being inside the terminal, the price was high.
I only eat in the airport when I’m delayed, as I was this evening.
Might return, but odds aren’t high.

I had about a 2 hour layover while on my way to Chicago. Was starving so I started to walk around the terminal for something decent to eat. If I looked for something not overpriced then I would have died of starvation.
I love Mexican food, when I walked by Sir Veza’s I saw that they had burritos and one of their special was the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito ($ 9). It had egg, potatoes and chorizo. It was actually quite good. The burrito was about 7″ long and 3″ wide and 2/​12″ in diameter. Very flavorful and filling, it did not feel like I was eating a brick of fat. What was so great was it only took less than 5 minutes for me to get my burrito and they have free cups of iced water. Win, Win!

I was stuck in the Phoenix International Airport for 2.5 hours longer than expected during a flight delay one Saturday evening and was getting hungry. After walking around checking out all the different restaurants in the terminal I finally found Sir Vesas.
There aren’t too many good places to eat in this airport (but plenty of average ones) so I chose Sir Vesas for the three star average and their more than one Vegetarian Option. I ordered the Bean and Cheese Burrito and it was about $ 7 which isn’t too expensive for airport food. The burrito was pretty good. Black beans, cheese, sour cream and salsa inside a flour tortilla. Nothing bad, nothing great. Just ok.
I might come back to Sir Vesas again if I was in the same terminal at Phoenix International. I wouldn’t traverse multiple terminals to get here, but if I was there then it’s not a bad option. They have a nice bar area as well as a small seating area which makes for a nice place to relax if you can find a spot.

The restaurant is difficult to get seating and very crowded.
The fish tacos were one of the best I’ve tasted. It’s hard to find good tasting food in airports. The prices are fair given that everything in the airport is pricier.
We got the chicken bacon quesadilla, the chicken bowl, and the hot dog. The hot dog was exceptional but the other two items were average.
I would highly recommend their fish tacos!
