Raincharmer Beads

This place is a gem! HaHa! Linda and Carol are so friendly and extremely helpful with showing us how to do certain techniques. Their jewelry is beautiful and very fairly priced. I have sent many people here and recommend it highly!!!

I’ve enjoyed jewelry making for many years now and found Raincharmer a welcoming place. Reasonable prices and friendly faces. Many others come to do enjoy learning and sharing and making new pieces of jewelry. Thank you, Linda and Carol for running such a fun place.

My wife has been a regular customer of Raincharmer for many years since we stumbled across them at the old Indoor Swapmart on 19^th Ave near Camelback. She followed them to their various locations at other swap meets across the West Valley. And now they’ve had their very own storefront for just over a year and, yeah, I’m a regular there, too. You’ll find us beading, learning, teaching, socializing, and enjoying the day there most Saturdays along with other regular customers, new customers, and Linda and Carol who run the place and set the tone for the inviting, casual atmosphere.
In addition to offering a large variety of beads, beading supplies, wires, findings, and completed jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, and more), they offer drop-​in classes. That’s right. No appointments or set times. If they’ve made a piece you’re interested in learning how to make, stop in, purchase your materials, and they’ll guide you through the design from start to finish for free. The exception is for wire wrapping classes. Because of the materials involved, there is a $ 10 fee for that.
Come for the jewelry or the beading, stay for the friendships and a few laughs along the way.

I LOVE this store. They have a good collection of beads and materials to purchase. They also offer very affordable classes (I believe they only charge for materials) that are a lot of fun and you would be surprised what you learn. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. It is a very peaceful atmosphere with good people making pretty things. What else could you want! :D

The first time I went to Raincharmer Beads, I was a bit apprehensive. I had been to a few other bead stores and didn’t have the best experiences. At one bead store, I was barely even acknowledged while at another I was watched closely the whole time I was there. When I walked into Raincharmer, I was greeted immediately and shown around the store. My primary interests in beading are bead weaving and bead embroidery. I was very happy to find a huge selection of seed beads. They have a multitude of sizes, styles, colors, and finishes. There are also strands of fire-​polish, semi-​precious, and glass beads. As I was checking out, the owner let me know that they offer free beading classes and signed me up for the email list so I wouldn’t miss any specials. This is great little bead shop and I am happy to support a local business.
