This place is amazing!!! Cute quaint awesome place to sit with friends or just by yourself!

The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. When I became pregnant I had severe acid reflux and morning sickness. The owner recommended the Rooibos Africana (tastes like a dreamsicle!) and after drinking this tea daily I am feeling almost 100% better. Now it’s the only tea shop I go to!

This is a very unique and friendly tea shop. The owners where extremely nice and knowledgeable. Really appreciate their hospitality. Good luck to this business’ journey

Amazing! There is no other way to describe this shop; the selection of organic teas, the customer service, the available gifts, the seating! There are games and friends are encouraged to gather. They also have spouts for gallon reverse osmosis water fill-​up. Truly an environmentally friendly & aware location. They compost and recycle, how refreshing. We need more businesses like them. Kudos.

These folks are so knowledgeable about tea and the ingredients in each tea and how they work and what they do. It’s wonderful. Plus they make you feel at home. Excellent local place for great tea.

Unlike the two star review, I’m not knowledgeable enough about tea to insult this establishment. I do know what I like without waiting for an «experts» opinion and I like this tea. The owner is more than happy to explain the different teas to me and both owners show a genuine interest in creating a great experience for their customers.

This place is so cute! Located right next to loving hut. It has a large selection of loose leaf teas and accessories. Not to mention they have smoothies and coffee. They include vegan options. The atmosphere is adorable with a friendly staff. I will definitely be back! A+

PuraTea is my sanctuary! No. Really. My coworkers and I go here at least 3 times a week to get away from work for a few minutes.
The couple that owns PuraTea is amazing — we love you guys! They always make you feel happy and comfortable. The tea is fantastic, and they’re always willing to «tweak» their recipes when we decide to create new concoctions.
The owners are always trying new things — they’re going to try out an open-​mic night and they came to our work’s Wellness Fair. They’re also expanding the amount of types of tea they have.
I’ve only seen one review for PuraTea that was bad, and they has some pretty conflicting information in their review (gender and name not included for privacy purposes).
All of this being said, they’re amazing. Just go.

First off I want to say that I truly wanted to like this place, I always try to support local family owned businesses.
My boyfriend and I had been searching for a good tea room in Phoenix and this place popped up on Unilocal so we decided to check it out. When we walked in the place was pretty dead but there was a nice ambiance. We met the owner and he showed us the teas we could choose from. My boyfriend and I are very knowledgeable about tea so it only took us a few minutes to realize that they are just reselling Adagio teas as their own. Adagio teas are decent but they are far from high quality tea. Also, anyone can buy Adagio teas not just businesses and it’s actually cheaper per ounce to buy the teas directly from Adagio even when not through wholesale.
My next issue was that we wanted to try some tea there. We love tea lattes and were pretty disappointed when we were told the closest thing to a tea latte was adding a disgusting creamer packet to our tea. So we just decided to get a plain hot tea. We both ordered the pu’erh spice which we had both had before from Adagio so we know what it should taste like if prepared properly. Once we got our teas they were way too hot, we couldn’t even take a sip for at least 20 minutes and once we did it was one of the worst cups of tea we’ve ever had. It was so bitter and astringent. To prepare tea properly you need to use the correct temperature water and steep it for the correct amount of time. As a tea room you think they would at least know how to prepare a cup of tea properly.
If you want a good high quality cup of tea this is not the place for you. Very disappointed.

If you like tea, you will absolutely love this place. I’m so excited to see businesses like this opening up in my area. They have a lovely café style shop with areas to relax, a wonderful ambiance. I will be visiting here often.

Best tea store I’ve ever been in. The teas are great & the owners, Rachel & Darrell, are super wonderful people. They seem to know everything about tea & the reverse osmosis water they make.
I’ve even downloaded their tea timer app in the android play store. It isn’t a big file & they don’t ask for any obtrusive permissions. I assigned my own ring tone too. Now I find myself using it for my green tea, my lunch break at work, cooking at home, & I even use it for my Clash of Clans updates.
Speaking of, I’m a member of the PuraTea Water clan too. Tons of fun being able to play in person with others in the clan.
I hope to see some of you in the store & in the clan!

I absolutely love this place! They are an all natural loose tea shop. The environment is relaxed, with a homely feel. The home made truffles are delicious and all natural as well. Darrell and Rachel (the owners) are very knowledgeable of the herbs and make everyone that comes in feel like family. Did I say I love this place? I love this place.

This local shop is so cute. Huge selection of loose leaf teas and the guy was so knowledgeable. Very reasonably priced and even gave me advice on how to steep the tea! Use a french press! I never even knew. I will be back for more

Local tea shop with a large selection of loose leaf teas at a decent price! The owners were wonderful people that you could tell were doing what they loved. They had samples out and were very knowledgeable and I got an 18% discount for eating at the vegan restaurant next door which made the price even more incredible! I will be definitely be buying my tea from here from now on!

OMG I love this place! The staff is fantastic; super friendly and super helpful — one of the most lovable couples I’ve ever met. The tea is fantastic too and there is a huge selection! I was even able to get my super picky mother a few teas that she absolutely loved for Christmas! The coffee is very tasty too. The prices are shockingly low for such a high quality product. This place is an absolute must try if you are in the Glendale are!

this place is amazing. found them by chance, and fell in love! we were just visiting my parents, and going out to dinner at Loving Hut next door, so we popped in to check them out. so glad we did! the tea sample for the day was positively divine, but the teas we purchased to take home were also so delicious. the owners REALLY know their stuff!
their process of making tea with RO water and a french press has changed my life. :)
bonus points for the glutenfree vegan date truffles they make on site, and reasonably priced, too! (beware: i saw a couple teas that were not glutenfree, so if you’ve got celiac, make sure you read the menu for ingredients. note to the owners: maybe you could denote which teas aren’t glutenfree to make it easier for us celiacs?)
i love the interactive tea display so you can sniff before you buy… i used to love Tealuxe in Boston, but buying tea was always a gamble that could be a disappointment. the tea here is far better than anything I ever had at Tealuxe, though.
the shop itself is adorable, with plenty of seating, and plugs for charging devices. if i lived here, i’d be working from here often!
there doesn’t appear to be an obvious ramp to get into the store for those of us who are wheelchair users or otherwise mobility impaired, so i hope that changes someday. that’s the only reason i rated this place 4 stars and not 5.

Wow! I loved my experience here today. The owners clearly know their tea and there are over 100 different kinds. I always liked the idea of teavana but hated spending $ 120 on 3 teas. I came here and got to take 7 of my favorite (yes, I wanted more than 7) teas home, got an awesome Teazer smoothie, and spent about a fifth of what I would have paid other places. I know there aren’t a lot of reviews yet, but if you like tea, love tea, tolerate tea, it’s worth checking out!
