This place is the worst ran business in all of Arizona. They will have you work for them and never pay you what you earned. They closed down while i was out of town and failed to ever let me know that they were closed. I had to find out through another employee. This same employee told me everyone else was paid on the weekend i was out of town. I try and get ahold of the owner Donna Valles and she never returned my calls or text messages. She even went to the extent to answer the call and hang up right away. Needless to say you should never work for these people, they are shady and will screw you over.

We had just discovered this neighborhood joint, so tired of corporate places, we even introduced friends to it. Went tonight to have dinner, there’s a sign on the door«Abandoned, closed» and its been stripped of everything. So sad. We did try the sushi place next door, Sushi Eye, not bad even though I don’t care for sushi they had other good options.

We tried Public House Garage the Saturday before the Superbowl on a whim and absolutely LOVEDIT. We couldn’t understand why the place was so dead. They had all draft beers at 3 $ for happy hour which included the normally pricey IPA my husband loves. The Green Chile Burger was outstanding and the fries were cooked perfectly. We got the carne asada queso too and the chips were a little too greasy for my taste but my husband loved them. We will definitely be back!

Great service. Food was really good, better than expected. Got steak queso dip, mozzarella egg rolls, and Margherita flat bread. The margaritas aren’t good, the beer is. They had a Mumford and sons type of band playing.

Best decision ever to finally try this place out! Great ambiance, attentive servers, stellar food and affordable right in the Tukee. What’s not to love! Full screen tvs 360 degrees, comfy seating. I’m sold. My burger was like bitting into heaven. I could kiss the chef! I was a CKs girl but I’ve found a new place to digress at. You’ve got to try them out, like now. get up, grab your keys and go. Get the Truck Stop burger ;)

Food is yummy, TV’s all around — awesome for fantasy football. Service SLOW, really slow. Everyone is friendly.

In a town full of strip malls and chain eateries, Public House Garage is just what Ahwatukee needed. Roll up garage doors with a variety of seating options, and not to mention a great patio for our cooler days. There’s plenty of TVs to catch almost any game. The week my Dad had a quadruple bypass, I was neglecting my own needs running back and forth from the hospital. By the time Sunday rolled around, I didn’t realize how friggin’ hungry I was! Dude was off work early, and dragged my butt here. I can’t remember exactly what we ate, but know it was some kind of BBQ Bacon Burger with the Shoestring Fries. Solid burger, but nothing unique or out of this world. We didn’t do any drinking; however, looks like they had plenty of tap handles and a nice looking Bloody Mary Bar. I look forward to a trip back to Public House Garage for Happy Hour, or just a beer with friends!

I went there again tonight hoping it would be a better experience and not because I wanted too but because of friends. It isn’t busy enough to be slow or not take my drinks but again they just don’t care there. I guess they don’t want my money. I will never return. Please stay away, there are sooo many better places out there.

Stopped in for lunch today and the food was awesome. The wings were cooked to perfection and the beer was ice cold. Think we found our new wing spot!

Great place for a local microbrew from Phoenix and great Happy Hour! Street tacos were a delish accompaniment to the good selection of beers and full bar. Our waitress was great, even told us when there would be a slight wait for one of our apps. Came over to refill drinks and ask about our food multiple times. We were here on a Saturday night and the service was great, don’t know why so many others had problems. I like that you have a choice of seating areas; inside– which is kinda noisy, being that this is a sports bar and had a live band, and the outside patios for the nice weather. Would come here again next time I’m in town.

The Garage used to be an awesome place to come on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and watch the football game. Enjoy a couple beers and some lunch with friends/family. The owners used to put quality over price when it came to their food and it was quite satisfying. However, not to long ago the place was sold and things have gone down hill. The food is low quality, it’s obvious that all the food is frozen and cheap ingredients. the burger is something a equivalent to one you could make at a neighborhood BBQ. The only thing it still has going for it is that you’re first beer is still very cheap and they have a good selection. Go here for a beer and leave before you eat.

I love the atmosphere here! Their burgers are fantastic and their service is awesome. The adult Mac and cheese is tasty and I love their chicken tenders! Definitely worth it. Usually busy on weekends and during happy hour.

I personally used to really enjoy this place and my boyfriend is a big supporter of this place but over the past few months I think it’s gone down quickly. One time, we brought my boyfriends boss for a little happy hour action and right before we were able to order, our server informs us that the entire kitchen staff walked out. The staff tends to stay after work for a drink or two which is totally cool, until it distracts the people that are actually working from their customers. When the staff is focused though, its great service, especially the older woman, I don’t remember her name but she’s petite and blonde and very friendly. The past two times I’ve been there, they’ve been out of what we ordered. We continue to go bc it is cheap and there are a lot of televisions and it’s super convenient to our house but in the same breath, zipps is just the same on the opposite corner. I’ve been tempted to contact bar rescue on their behalf bc it really used to be a great place w huge potential but it’s not living up to it.

Have been going here regularly for about a year. New owners took over recently and are trying to turn it into a biker bar. Problem is the service has suffered significantly since the change. Slow, unfriendly, below average. Food has remained consistent, but no reason to put up with the decrease in service when there are 4 – 5 great places within 5 minutes. New owners should take a breath and focus on what made The Garage successful enough to buy.

Once we came in a nice greeter was the friendly face one expects to see. But this place is a bit strange, because it is quite loud in here like in a sports bar during game night. but then again people are here with their kids, so they must treat this place like a restaurant where they let their children run amok. This is a dislike; If I go out for drinking, the last thing I want is to have to deal with other peoples unattended children. Our server was nice enough, a little hovering for my taste — but since we were a fairly large party it must be hard to remember who she have asked for refills and what not. I had some OK brown beer, and the house tacos. The house tacos was a mistake. They are of decent size with doubled up corn tortillas. Fair amount of chicken, but everything else in them was super dry. Like extremely dry and they come with no sauce, no salsa, nothing that could counter this culinary crime of a dish. It also comes with tortilla chips and a strange icky cheese sauce that defies laws of nature in its way to stay warm forever. Gastropub my hiney, I expect more of a Gastropub than poorly composed dishes. But the atmosphere, if I categorize this to some kind of sports bar, was OK. If you just need to go for a few drinks with a pal, and can ignore the kids it wasn’t that bad. but that isn’t me claiming its good either. There must be better places in Chandler, and I will find it.

Not in my neck of the woods, I relied on a family member to help me find a place for lunch. Thanks cuz… Good thing he knows what I like. This place was right up my alley. I arrived first and was waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. While I was waiting and listening to the rather loud grunge music being played, I figured I would order an appetizer. I opted for the hellfire chips, which confounds me why they did not call them buffalo chips. Allow me to explain: take your standard buffalo chicken wings, complete with bleu cheese dressing and substitute thick, housemade potato chips for the chicken wings. Sprinkle some green onions and MORE bleu cheese crumbles on top and you have buffalo chips. I don’t heap this kind of praise often — it’s the best appetizer I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Oh yeah, I ordered a HopKnot(OK I had two), from your friendly local brewery, which during happy hour, will only make three bucks fly from your wallet. The rest of the group arrives(the grunge music fades into the background once you have someone to talk to) and a selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads and sides were ordered. The food was good, but those buffalo chips had already stolen the show and that was hard to live up to. I only regret that I don’t live closer because their happy hour looks really good and I am a sucker for a really good happy hour. I may just have to make a trip up I-10 to visit during happy hour. Hey cuz… got room for me to crash at your place?

Happy hour until 8:00 on Fridays! Did that get your attention? Yep, I said it and it’s true! As if that wasn’t enough, add in great local brews, a decent selection of wine, delicious bar food, a friendly staff, and great music videos(along with sports) and ‘The Garage’(as it’s know in our circle) has a permanent spot in our regular rotation. This building has been a few different establishments over the past several years and I’m so happy that Public House Garage has landed there and done a great job! They even added a patio(brilliant!) to open up the space and allow us to enjoy the wonderful AZ weather most of the year. Lots of TVs to watch the game or enjoy the music videos, tables, booths, a huge bar, friendly staff, the list goes on and on! My love for this place started long ago on my first visit. It was then that I learned that I can get Four Peaks Oatmeal Stout(for $ 3 on happy hour!) without having to drive to Four Peaks and I’ve been coming back(A LOT) ever since! My favorite beer within blocks of my house? This could be dangerously wonderful! The happy hour menu has a lot of great snacks, I recommend the sliders and the fried zucchini. The margharita pizza is pretty good too! If I’m trying to be healthy, I’ll get the ‘hot and buff chicken salad’ for some grilled chicken with wing sauce on a salad. Just like a chicken wing on a salad and it is delicious! If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to add just a few more lighter/healthier options. Happy hour also includes $ 3 drafts and $ 5 glasses of wine. .. ALLWINES! Wahoo! And when we’re feeling like having some mixed cocktails, they have a long list of those as well. Great stuff! We have racked up quite a bill trying all of the different drinks, but it was great fun! My favorite so far, the Meadow Mule, try it! If you are really nice and ask politely, they might even make you some extra blue cheese olives for your dirty martini. YUM! I have been to The Garage so many times, and even walked home on several occasions. Lunch, happy hour, dinner, late night, or even Sunday brunch, the answer is always The Garage! See you there!

They’ve obviously put a lot of work on the space, with lots of different seating«zones», while still remaining a very open floor plan. While there’s not a huge selection of beers on tap, care has been taken when choosing which beers to offer. It’s like a who’s who of local craft breweries, and during happy hours only $ 3 a large pint in an ice cold glass. Mmm, the Four Peaks Hop Knot A ton of happy hour app specials to choose from as well. Frankly I think they’re overpriced outside of happy hour, but very reasonable during The three different sliders for $ 5 was a nice deal. I normally don’t care for cole slaw, but theirs was very subtle and worked well on the Firehouse chicken which was the best of the three. No exaggeration, it really was phenomieal. The real winner all around was the butter toasted buns. .. hell, I could’ve happily just eaten a plate of those. I was told they come from the Wildflower Bread Co bakery. The angus burger that comes with the trio of sliders was lacking. .. it was actually a bit sad next to the others. .. but the next time I went the cool bartender had no problem letting me order them with two BBQ sliders and the Chicken instead of the angus I was disappointed by the wings. $ 8.50 for a pound, which ended up being 9 fairly skimpy wings and drums. The BBQ sauce was ok, but skimpy as well. Not even a valient effort. .. It’s still a tug of war who has the best wings, NNY or Teakwoods. There’s an excellent large flat-screen set up as well on the inside, and they have a beautiful picture. Garage is a very welcome addition to the Warner/48th Street neighborhood, which really needed a pub
