This is the rudest clinic I have ever been to in my life. Not only were the Medical Assistants idiotic and unprofessional; they do not by any means follow sanitary protocols while performing phlebotomy; or similar in-clinic procedures. I am one semester away from my RN with ASU, and I have to say that I was honestly concerned for my well-being after I watched the MA handle urine, touch my arm WITHNOGLOVESAFTER cleaning it with alcohol, proceed to stick my arm with a needle(AFTERSHEJUSTTOUCHEDME) NEXTTO but NOTIN a very visible vein… and right into a tendon. It took this woman about 6 sticks before I was sent to lab corp because I left with painful phlebitis. These people lack training, clinical skills and courtesy. They treated me like an object«pin cushion» and an idiot when I requested for her to wash her hands. As for the Nurse Practitioner, she placed my IUD before I was even on my menstrual cycle which was extremely painful, and I was not offered any pain relief. About 3 weeks later I was told by a well respected doctor in Scottsdale that my IUD was not placed correctly via ultrasound. It then had to be removed because it was literally hanging out of my cervix causing excessive bleeding and anemia. Do not go to this place! They are ghetto, unprofessional, uneducated, ignorant and rude women. I absolutely hate this clinic and would give –10 stars if I could.

honestly, these are the rudest office«professionals» I have ever encountered in a setting like this. I watched a girl walk in, they asked if they could help her(which they didn’t even ask me– I just stood there without saying a word until they were basically forced to speak to me) and they ignored her response of having an appointment. she checked in and sat down, two other girls came in and the same thing happened. the first girl who came in stood up and asked if there was paperwork she had to fill out(she must have noticed the other two filling it out) and they basically said«Uhhhh yeah» like she was an idiot, tossed her a piece of paper and a clipboard and then didn’t say another word. two seconds later they call her name to go back there and they rolled her eyes when she said she wasn’t done with the form! like what the frick. I just seriously wanted to tell them they’re sh** workers and leave.

Unprofessional! When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted by anyone. After signing in immediately and sitting down after not being greeted, I waited a while. The manager turned on the tv and it was really loud and something obnoxious was on the television. I turned the tv off and the manager came out and turned the tv back on. At which, point I mentioned it was loud so I had turned it off, so I asked her to turn it down. She MAYBE turned it down 1 level in volume so it was still really loud. These are trivial matters, but it was very unprofessional. There is also a language barrier and poor communication. I was asked to sit and wait until the bathroom was available before giving a urine sample. I had no way of knowing if the bathroom was vacant because it was down the hall and out of sight from the waiting area. So I basically waited for no reason. This place is a dump and not anything like a professional doctor’s office. The only reason why I came here is because my doctor’s office had a two week wait, so it’s good in that respect. I doubt many of the Planned Parenthood patients are even aware of Unilocal, but if you are like me and just here out of last resort convenience, be prepared for an unprofessional and rude experience. #Loweredexpectations #plannedunprofessionlism

I recently moved to the area after graduating from school in Tucson, so I have no on/gyn yet. I came here to renew my BC prescription. Everything went fine in the office, everyone was very friendly, appointment was quick an painless. I got my prescription so I could send it off to my insurance only to find out that the lady dated the prescription wrong by putting 2013 when it was 2014. So after jumping through hoops I finally received a new prescription in a different format than the first and my insurance rejected it because the doctor did not sign it. My insurance and I have both been trying to get ahold of the office for over a week now and nothing has been fixed. I would not recommend going to this clinic, the nurse practitioner does not seem to pay attention to basic details nor care about her patient’s time.

RIGHTSVIOLATIONALERT! My wife had an appointment for a blood pregnancy test. We walk in for the appointment, and they refuse to do the test. Then they wouldn’t allow me back there with her for her appointment. They also forced her to recount events that happened several years ago, which threw her into a full-blown panic attack/PTSD attack. They still wouldn’t allow me back there with her. So if you care about your loved ones at all, don’t bother with this place.

I recently attempted to transfer to this location from the Mesa location. I requested my files be transferred on a Tuesday since it is the only day I have off that matches with their office hours. I called the next week Tuesday to confirm that I could now pick up my birth control pills from this new location. They said that they did not have my records at the new location… Ok… so, now going on two full weeks just to get some birth control pills which are more expensive than their other location in Mesa. The office hours here are terrible. They aren’t open on weekends, or Wednesdays and have very unusual hours the other days of the week. For example 11−7pm I believe on Tuesdays but only 8−3pm on Thursdays. For someone who works 8:30−6 this is very difficult to manage especially since I know it will take hours to get what I need.
