By far, it was the worst food I have ever eaten. The fish is nothing more than the frozen patties you can buy in the grocery store minus any flavor. I may as well have eaten cardboard.

I love Pete’s! Stopped by at this location for the first time today at lunch, and it was just as the Van Buren location — cheap, no frills, greasy spoon meals. The building is nothing special, but the place serves its purpose.
I normally go with the two piece fish meal, but this time went for the chicken strips (had to try them in the special sauce). The food was served fast and hot, despite it being in the middle of the lunch hour rush. Don’t ask for condiments, they only have Pete’s Sauce, and it’s a secret recipe. To me it tastes like spicy ketchup, but if you have yet to try it, it’s so worth it.
Depending on what you get, you don’t have to plan on spending more than $ 6 or $ 7 MAX for your food. Pete’s is CASH ONLY, but there is an ATM on site if you don’t have any with you.
