Paradise Valley Mothers of Multiples

The Paradise Valley Mothers of Multiples club hosts a semi-​annual sale. I’m not sure if it is in the same location every time, but today it was at the Desert Springs Bible Church on Tatum and Bell. It’s sort of like a giant yard sale exclusively with gently used items for children ages newborn to eight. Talk about baby madness! I’m talking 8 different cribs, 25 strollers, 20 car seats, bins and bins and bins of onesies, blankets… bouncers, high chairs, baby carriers, diaper bags, toys, racks and racks of baby clothes, bedding sets… the whole nine yards. It’s endless.
And did I mention all of the items are anywhere from 40−80% off? Yes, Britax carseats for $ 120 (retail $ 280), Baby Bjorn carriers for $ 25 (retail $ 80), Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags for $ 25 (retail $ 160), Graco Pack-n-Play’s for $ 60 (retail $ 150), Boppy Baby Pillows for $ 15 (retail $ 55)…get my point? It’s fantastic.
The sale opened at 10 am, with the line starting to form around 8 am. We arrived quarter of nine and were probably 20 people back, but by the time the sale opened there were easily a couple hundred people in line. Admission is $ 3.00 with a $ 1 discount for bringing canned goods. The entire sale was cash only.
I highly recommend bringing a friend to do the shopping with you. All items contain price tags, and you need a volunteer (of the club) to remove and hold onto the tags of larger items for you. Meaning, if you’re alone and you want that pack and play and that crib, you have to wait at one for someone to get the ticket for you before moving on to the next item.
All in all, this sale is amazing. It’s great for anyone who wants to find a bargain on endless baby items in great condition. I walked away with a Graco Travel Crib and a Boppy Pillow for $ 54…
